Please educate me if I am in error, but I do not see a connection between slavery and abortion--how could one judge? Are apples better than oranges? For me, slavery is by far the greatest crime that white America has ever committed, among the several major ones, and even today the United States is paying for it. It spawned racial prejudice, which, though no longer taught to white southern children in school and church and at the table, remains alive and well throughout the land.

Sin only exists in the minds of those who believe in it. I am incapable of sin. Besides, if abortion is so amazingly wrong, why does "god" cause the miscarriage, and thus the natural abortion, of so many pregnancies? Can't be wrong if "god" does it? Right?
And God pretty much condones/ encourages slavery in the first testament. That must have been where the Nazis got their religious backing.

Slavery is worse. It keeps people from living out their full potential. Abortion prevents young women from becoming unfit parents, by postponing parenthood. It also helps these women develop and grow, before taking on that responsibility when they are older. Abortion is about women having control over their destiny, just like slaves should be free to have control over their own destiny. Otherwise women become slaves to the men who rape them - because of the forced responsibility of taking care of their children.
Legal abortion also prevents the problems associated with illegal abortion: medically unsafe abortions are often resorted to.

I don't do that sin stuff but the more serious crime against humanity would be slavery because it's against living entities not dreams or possibilities of living entities.
I'm an Atheist - I'm into saving the living.

Since the Bible makes no mention of abortion, yet recognizes slavery over and over again and never condemns the practice... it appears that God is against neither.

In the eyes of God, sin is sin, but in the eyes of man, murder (which I do believe is abortion...I'm not a fanatic - just my personal opinion) is the MOST heinous....to take a life.

Slavery, abortion isn't considered a sin in the Bible no matter how Christians try to twist it to make it seem that way.

In whose eyes? All sin is the same and heinous on the same level to God.
But to me I would say Abrotion because you ended a life that never had a chance. No first kisses. No first proms or days at school. Nothing.
Salvery doesn't automatically mean they are suffering and they have life. Which still does'nt make it right. But that is my view.

Is any sin really more heinous than another?
God's forgiveness is absolute, if you are truly repentant for your sins, God will forgive.
