Even if my son, or daughter was really bad or did the worst thing, i wouldn't let them suffer, i wouldn't put them to torture, i would do anything in my power to stop them from suffering and if god is really "all-powerful" than he could stop someone going to hell. "Rejecting" jesus, is it a sin worth eternal hell? No way. I would never let my son go to hell no matter what they did to me, but apparently god would, you see, already i am more loving than god. Also, why does our fatye after death last forever, if someone did something a little wrong in god's eyes, don't they just deserve a little time in hell, instead of eternity, that's not fair, Noone deserves eternity in hell, and if god loves us he wouldn't let it happen.

Eternal consequences for a finite act = immorality defined.

I could never worship such a being. By definition, he wouldn't be WORTHY of worship.

I am a Christian and I do not believe in the eternal punishment of hell for sinners. If you read the same Bible as I do, it states that even the Devil has an end by being cast away and burned up totally. God is merciful. Sin results in permanent death called the second death which is the death of the soul.

Ahhh, my factor for years!I used to declare, “How can God be a loving God AND nonetheless make you are worried Him?” and “What loving being could rigidity you to go through for eternity?” once I lost my faith, I grew very indignant. fantastically questioning approximately all those video clips that scared the crap out people with regard to the tip of the worldwide! I felt that a loving God shouldn't would desire to frighten you to get you to love Him. And the heaven and hell that have been defined to me… properly, neither have been perfect! till my cousin have been given me to wish, “If there's a God, teach it to me,” i did no longer have faith in God in any respect. yet issues occurred that replaced my strategies appreciably. i'm no longer non secular, yet non secular. massive, massive distinction. Now i understand there's a God, yet he isn't what an incredible sort of think of! God isn't vengeful, all people is! Karma isn't a punishment, yet a lesson. for people who could say that it quite is stupid to have faith in any respect (like i could have not too some time past), I project them to declare the prayer above. I did it without concept, worry, or expectation. I do warning you, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that. some people take an incredible sort of convincing, and it might desire to be fairly extreme. yet once you're quite confident there is not any God, then you does no longer have any problem saying a ‘pointless’ prayer, could you? I advise, even with each thing, what's the worst that would desire to take place? no longer something, perfect? on the different hand, it might desire to alter your existence. yet you will never understand till you attempt.

He does have a way to stop someone from going to hell, the whole forgiveness thing. I don't think you have to accept Jesus, just God. (Some people think there's a difference between the two) I also don't think he'd send good, innocent people to hell, alot of people can't help the fact that they don't have access to religion...but there are alot of bad, evil people in this world. If everyone was guaranteed a good afterlife, then why don't we all just sin? What if your child grew up to be a psycho murderer? They might get the death penalty and suffer. That's judgment and justice, and you wouldn't be able to stop it know matter how much you loved your kid.

Everyone has a choice to be good or evil, God gave us that choice. It's our responsibilty to make the right decisions and not expect God to bail us out just so we can do whatever we want.

I see that more as a metaphor really. By doing various "good works" or whatever you want to call them, you enrich your life and the lives of those around you, in effect, being in heaven(once enough people do good things at least). By doing the oh so very numerous bad things you degrade your life and the lives of everyone around you turning your daily life into a living hell. I don't really believe in an afterlife per se, I personally believe in reincarnation based on personal worth(not what you think you are worth but what you have actually earned). My two cents.

As you said it is total nonsense ,let's don't forget this; how could a God just send people to eternal torture even if they were the most amazing human beings only because they just did not BELIEVE IN HIS EXISTANCE? it does not make any sense. The hell they talk about is in their heads.

common sense

Heaven is Heaven because it is where God is. It is a really good place to be because God is there. God also brings certain characteristics to Heaven because of His presence (love, rest, food, water, life, healing, ect). Hell exists because of a lack of the presence of God not because it was created to torture. When we choose a life away from God, God respects that decision, at death He will also respect that decision and let those who lived their lives away from Him to spend eternity away from Him. Since away from God is away from the qualities of God then we end up in hell (away from love, comfort, rest, food, water, healing, ect). This does not prove that God is unloving and it does not prove that you love more than God, it does prove that God loves us to let us make a decision and will respect the decision that we make. He will not force us to go to Heaven if we choose to stay away from Him.

He sent Lucifer to hell, and he was according to the Bible, the angel of music. You are only human, and I know you wouldn't want your children to suffer, therefore raise them right with love, respect, morals and values (which so many Americans don't have anymore) and pray. Prayer is very strong.

So to answer your question: God is so powerful. No answer here by us is going to be correct because we are not God, meaning you must only speak to God about your feelings and questions. I hope this helps!

(and God is always capitalized)

Yes God is all loving but yes there will be a lot of people that go to hell.

But God doen't send them. Each person deciedes and sends themselves.

God gave us free will and you have the right to choose rather you want to worship him and make him the love of your life or if you want to ignore him, curse him etc...

Put it this way: There are 2 doors the first one goes to heaven the second one goes to hell. God doesn't tell you which to choose, he gave you free will to deciede yourself. Choose the door rather you want to accept or not it is up to you. God doesn't send people we choose.

I'm sure it pains him as much as a parent is pained when a child becomes a drug addict, rappist, murder and many other things. But you didn't make your child do it. They choose.

It doesn't make sense to me either. If God has infinate power, then why would he bother using it to make people suffer.

I personally believe that even if God does exist, the parts of religious texts which threaten us with hell have just been fabricated in an attempt to guide human behaviour and to make it easier to recruit people.
