Do a web search on the terms ammo reloading, interior ballistics, and exterior ballistics. Stop by a real gun shop, not a sporting goods store, and have a chat with a sales person about your interests. They should be able to recommend some good books on the subject as well as personal observations.

You can pick up some info on both interior and exterior ballistics, but for the most part you get what you pay for. A good place to start, though, is some reloading manuals and those websites published by the manufacturers, like Hodgdon.

There is no one shop stop for this stuff. You need to keep looking, buy some gun magazines (the paper kind, not the ones that hold bullets ;) keep your ears open, go to the gunshops. In time you will pick it up. There is a lot you can learn by simply typing it in on google.

Do you have a specific question that you wanted to ask?
