Using weight against the opponent? Judo, BJJ and other throwing martial arts are generally suited towards that aspect.
Ninjitsu might also be worth looking into, as i've heard it can be useful in a street fight against large 'thugs'. But then most martial arts are useful in that way:).
Good luck in whatever martial art you choose:).

If u are looking for a PURE self defense martial art with using your opponents weight against them I'd recommend Combat Hapkido, BJJ. CH has some components of BJJ in it. If u are just looking for any art that does that then there is Aikido and Aiki-Jitsu.

Jiu-Jitsu is the best for using the oppoents strength against them. A good example is the eary UFCs (1,3,4) where Royce Gracie used Jiu-Jitsu to beat guys that weighed 100-200 pounds more than him.

Ju jitsu, aikido, bagua zhang, tai chi chuan are all arts that aren't strength based. Tai chi will take a longer time to learn. You may also want to check out wing chun. It's a striking art but it's not based on brute strength (or it shouldn't be).

hey, im a taekwondo student/instructor and ive been training for about 9 years. all martial arts basically use balance and weight advantages, although some more then others.
taekwondo is an olympic sport and can be very speed/strength orientated.
for wat u said id prob recomend judo or hapkido. they are a bunch of fun and ud be amazed how much u can easily overpower someone larger then u with the right moves.

Find a good school, not a good style. The quality and frequency of your training will far outweigh the style you train in.
Tips for a good school:
Never sign a contract.
Never pay for rank testing.
Look for an instructor with direct lineage.
Ask to observe the classes and take a couple for free.
Ask to observe their sparring.
Look for a clean school with respectable people.

Jiu Jitsu is the best to defend yourself. There arent flashy kicks or anything, but it is the most effective and doesn't require a lot of strength. It's mostly leverage.

any jujitsu, judo, aikido or hapkido would be best for what you are looking for. all put emphasis on throws, take-downs and grappling.
