In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most merciful

The Bible is divided into two parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is the Holy Scripture of the Jews and contains records of all the prophets of the Jews that came before Jesus (pbuh).

The New Testament contains records of the life of Jesus (pbuh).

The complete Bible, i.e. the Old Testament and the New Testament put together, contains 73 books. However, the Protestant Bible i.e. the King James Version, contains only 66 books as they consider 7 books of the Old Testament to be apocrypha, i.e. of doubtful authority.

Therefore the Old Testament of the Catholics, contains 46 books and that of the Protestants, 39 books. However the New Testament of both these sects contains 27 books.

The Quran tells us that The Torah was the revelation given to
prophet Moses [pbuh ] for the jews which is considerd to be
the old testament .This Revelation is not present in the original form.
Jesus [pbuh ] was given the revelation called as the INJEEL
which was the gospel of Jesus [pbuh ] .The Gospel of jesus[pbuh ] is nowhere to be found. We know that jesus[pbuh ]preached the gospel ,where is it ? No one in their right mind
can say that Jesus [pbuh ] went around preaching with the
bible under his arm according to mathew, mark ,luke and John. We Know that the word Bible is not even present in the
bible.
Christians will blindly say that the bible exist in its original form but the truth is that it does NOT exist in its original Form. What is available is copies of the original manuscript.
We know that the bible according to Mathew, Mark , luke , and john were not written at the time of jesus [pbuh ] They
emerged 300 to 400 years after the advent of jesus [pbub ].
The authors of the bible are unknown to this day.Because
their names sound similar to those of the disciples of jesus[pbuh ] the catholic church has not verified the authenticity of the writers.
The Christians say that the bible was written in Hebrew, Greek and latin.
The bible has hundreds of versions and No one version is
similar to the other.

What was the original language of Bible 2000 years ago ? Do the original Bible in that language available now?

The Greek was a translation of passages where the original was lost. Amazingly, the Hebrew of that time, so long ago, has not changed very much. At that time, Hebrew was only a language used specifically for writing religious texts. The verbal language was Aramaic. Some of the bible is in Aramaic.

There is a Hebrew version of the OT called the Masoretic text BUT by the time of Jesus and his apostles, Hebrew had fallen into disuse as a common language....Jesus spoke Aramaic (now called ancient Syriac). As for Scripture, there was a Greek version of the OT called the Septuagint which is what Jesus and the Apostles were familiar with for worship. When Jesus and Paul quote from the OT, they are quoting from the Septuagint version and not the Masoretic text.

Can't help but wonder why Protestants reject the Septuagint in favor of the Masoretic when the Septuagint is what Jesus and the Apostles used. We Catholics use the Septugint translation of the OT....same as Jesus.

The Aramaic version of the OT is called the Peshitta. The Bible was translated into Latin in AD 382 to around AD 406 by St. Jerome. It is called the Vulgate -- meaning "common language". Christian liturgies were originally in Greek but the Western part of the Roman Empire eventually became Latin-speaking which is why a Latin Bible was needed. It was NOT translated into Latin to prevent people from reading it....Latin was the common liturgical and everyday language from around AD 196. Latin is STILL the "official" language of the Western Catholic Church.

Old Testament: Mostly Hebrew and some Aramaic.

New Testament: Some books may have been written in Aramaic originally, but most were written in Greek.

Aramaic, like Hebrew, is a Semitic language -- it is not related to Greek.

I know that you can see a copy of the New Testament in Aramaic: http://www.peshitta.org/

Here is the New Testament in Hebrew: http://dvar-adonai.org/

Here is the New Testament in Modern Greek: http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~fisher/gnt/

Hebrew, and Aramaic. Hebrew - Old Testament (from Jewish books), Aramaic - the New Testament. Aramaic is a form of Greek. It is available in the original language - try a Christian book store, or perhaps some software. I learned a little bit of the New Testament in Aramaic Greek and it was VERY interesting to do - kind of like time traveling, because the words were written nearly 2,000 years ago.

Old Testament: Hebrew
New Testament: Koine Greek

There's some Aramaic in there somewhere, too.

I'm sure there are Bibles in those languages available for sale somewhere, but I bet they'd be expensive.

the bible wasnt written 2000 years ago. the different gospels and scriptures were recored all through the ages. the bible was put together around the 1100's by the Council Of Nicea, who decided what should be in the bible and what shouldn't (this is what created all the theories of the da Vinci code etc etc.) but the books of the bible were mainly written in Hebrew. It seems like you are looking for an untainted version of the bible, that you are not going to find. (a) because the books were written my people, people who exaggerate and creatively expand on the truth and (b) because people decided what to put in the bible in the first place, so not all of it is really there. But i believe you can still get copies of the hebrew bible, and kind of christian bookshop should be able to source one. or an online bookshop.
