No He is the long expected Messiah.
The teaching to turn the other cheek was to counter the over aggressive use of revenge in Jesus’ day (you have heard an eye for an eye). Also notice in Luke 6:29; what we are talking about a non-lethal slapping of the cheek, the carrying of a pack two mile, the given of your coat. These were only acts of humiliation and hardly comparable to serious dangers of our families. This does not mean we are to sit ideally by (waiting for the authorities) as our family is murdered. Yes, we are to resist taking manner into our own hands but that is if it’s possible, as it says in Romans; “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men” “If it is possible” is not the same as always. We are to strive to live at peace with all men, but if our families are in danger we are to rise up and be their protectors.
You may remember that Jesus was content with the apostles having two swords in Luke 22:38. Two swords are not enough to start wars, however they are enough to fight defensively. The Allies clearly were acting in self-defense against the axis powers.

The false prophet will preform many miracles and wonders by they are done from an evil source. God is the source of healing so healing from an evil source will not last.
Secondly Jesus fulfilled many prophesies made in the OT. Thirdly Matthew 12:22 explain why Jesus could not have been from a dark source.
Fourthly: The Holy Spirit was sent after Jesus as our counsellor and would have revoked anything that Jesus said had God not sent Jesus.
Fifth: Jesus is mentioned many times in Revelation as being Holy and good and just and many other things but the false prophet is seen in Revelation as against God, Jesus was always for God.
Sixth: A historical view of the Bible should not be taken like that. Look at what the Bible says about the coming of Jesus and look for those signs. Jesus WILL come again not HAS come again.
Hope thats a good enough answer for you. God Bless.

Jesus was prophet of God as reaffirmed by the prophet after him i.e. Holy Prophet Muhammad whoconfirmed his authenticity. The prophet Jesus as portrayed by the Christains does not appear to be true prophet,at all, because has was mandated to reform the Jews who had become very cruel following the teaching "Eye for an Eye" to an undesirable rigidity neglecting the rational aspects of the teaching. What Moses taught was to take revenge but did not teach not to forgive at all.Since Jewish tribes had scattered from Palestine to Kashmir,Jesus was tospend his time and wander through all these countries to deliver the message toJews everywhere. He was preparing the Jews of all these countries for welcoming the universal prophet for all times and all the people as such his teachings were not meant to be adopted during WW2 and in fact were not adopted. But the conclusion drawn that by following his teachings we would have been slave to Nazi's is not correct either,Some enemies are confrontation and some by foregiveness and compassion. The same happened in India, when Hindus became greedy for wealth,God sent Budha with the teaching for giving away worldly greed and pleasures. Both Jesus and Budha are so similar in the teachings that teachings of Christ of Christ merged within the name of Budha and spiritual successors after allthe Jews following the Christ embraced Islam in 8th century AD.
As far as coming of Anti Christ is concerned it is prophesised about somebody disguised under the name of Christ but in fact acting against his teachings of compassion and forgiveness which befits the christain imperialism which is dtermined to annihiliate week and innocent people in the name of peace efforts and alleviation of human sufferings.

No false prophet could come back from the grave like Jesus did. As for turn the other cheek, that was meant to apply to meaningless insults, not deadly threats. Jesus also said in Luke 22:36 that having weapons to defend ourselves is more important than having clothes. Jesus also took a whip through a temple to chase out the people who were doing evil things there. Jesus was not the wimp many people say He was. He kicks butt and takes names.
As for Gandhi's saying that an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, that is foolish and assumes half the world is trying to do evil to the other half, and that the last person who can see will poke out his own eyes. Not likely in reality, but it made a catchy sound bite.

You need to do a little more studying pal .
But the only false prophet that I know of is in the end times when he and the anti-Christ shall fool the masses . Jesus did say turn the other cheek , but if you read any more of the bible than that passage . Plenty of verses say that we need to use the wisdom god gave us and defend ourselves . That quote was really for a one on one confrontation , not Hitler and his opposing forces .
Nice try .

The problem with religion (one problem among many) is the literal thinking of its followers. The Sermon on the Mount (and the Ten Commandments) are a guide for action, not inflexible rules that can never be broken under any circumstances. So--it's better to be non-resistant, but not always (e.g. the Nazis or whatever). It's better not to lie, kill or steal but there may be extreme circumstances where it would be the lesser of two evils, etc. It's better not to get divorced, but there may be a situation, etc. You get the idea. Fairly straightforward, huh?
BTW, it removes all those problems about abortion, homosexuality etc. You do whatever is nearest right under the circumstances, in the light of your best understanding of how God taught us to behave.

The warning about the false prophet you are speaking about came about after Jesus had already come and died and rose again. Some of those warnings came from Jesus Himself.
The two best received false prophets, in the world so far, have probably been Mohammed and Joseph Smith.
However the anti Christ talked about in the Bible is someone who won't be revealed as long a the church remains on the earth.
Let me suggest you study the two links below very carefully.

Could god be the devil? If the devil is so cunning who is to say what is worshipped as God is not the Devil in disguise? That's my take on it ... might explain why so many believers of all faiths will kill and maim in the name of god.
As for Jesus' teachings ... wasn't the New Testament written like years after his death? Maybe it was God's last effort to amend the damage done when he was cunned by the Devil.

I imagine the false-christ will be accepted as the jewish/muslim messiah. Jesus isn't the false-christ because the belief is from the followers of Jesus in New Testament writings.
