Had a dreams two nights ago that has been really bugging me, because i m trying to understand its meaning.

i m only going to mention the part that i think is the symbol of my dream, cuz the rest of it is long, and doesnt make sense, and didnt mean anything to me.
My dreams symbol was me catching on fire. As scary as it sounds, i didn't seem to be That alarmed about it in my dream (i was more like surprised). it didn't feel good to be on fire but i felt or expressed no true pain.

i wanted to get your opinions and suggestions, so i can try to decipher this bothersome dream. please and thanks :)

what led up to the fire, was a small oxygen tank. i needed it to breath for some reason, so i picked it up and inhaled a breath of it, put it down and as i walked away, fire just came out of nowhere. of course i know oxygen is highly flammable but there was nothing that couldve made a spark that could've caused it to enflame. So anyways, i was walking away from it and as i did my left hand caught fire and it started creeping up my arm. i was wearing long sleeves too. i lose memory of it right before it got to my face. i dont remember if i woke up or just stopped dreaming but i dont remember past that.

I am not a person who knows everything about dreams but I do know about fire. I am a person who has lived through 2 house fires...first one in 1985 and the second one in 1998. I escaped both times without any loss of life. The experinces were unbelievable....rough..I can not begin to tell you what it feels like to lose every single thing you own in the world twice. I remember thinking to myself ...if I had only known I would have had a fire...I would have dressed better..because I only had the clothes on my back. I am a strong person..I am a survivor..that is only one touch of my life...my friends are always telling me I should write a book...there is so much more.....anyway, fire represents to me something you cannot control...it takes on a life of its own. My guess...and it is only a guess...is that the fire you are experiencing in your dream has something to do with some area of lacking control and the part of the dream where you are not alarmed with the fire...might be because you are use to the lack of control in you life...I am just putting 2 and 2 together...hope I helped in some small way...

You might want to examine some things you are doing in your life. Being on fire is usually represents that things you put into practice in your life is about to be tested by fire. Or trials which seem fire. Being on fire represents being consumed or devoured by trials. I am speaking biblically, only you know your own life. But the scriptures says, that people will set themselves on fire with their own breathe. Or you will bring judgment on yourself by the words which come out of your mouth. Lastly, you said the fire started on your left hand and then went up your body. The left hand is usually associate with doing things which are immoral and foolish. So, it looks like there may be something which you are doing which is going to ignite your whole body.

The first thing you have to remember not everything in a dream means the same as it does in the real world. Such as death can mean life. Now what you see as important may not be to the dream reader, so without the full dream I can not give you more.

Your mind was reassuring you that though you saw/thought your were on fire, you were not in any pain or danger. It is also used to help women forget the pain of childbirth. If women didn't forget, nobody would ever have a second child!
