My son and the groom have been friends since kindergarten. Since I have known the groom for most of his life, does anyone know if there is anything that I can hang on his wrist or ankle? LOL .. Strange question I know, but I have never heard of anything.

I've seen this as well at a number of weddings, but have only ever seen the bride carrying them, I guess a horseshoe or bell would work for a guy, but even then I'm not 100% sure how comfortable a guy would feel holding that. I'd rather give him an engraved hip flask with a wee tot of whisky in it or something along the lines of that.

I've never heard of a bride hanging anything from her wrist.

Either a ball and chain or a handcuff on him would be appropriate!
