they are both outside dogs and only in the summer they scratch at their ears till they bleed i use peroxide and triple antibiotic and duck tape to coverup the wound so the flies won't aggravate, but they manageto get the tape off.

Try a mosquito and flea repellent. They are probably scratching at bites, those on the ears are less tolerable as the bites swelling has no where to go.
I would think if you can get on top of that, the other problem will clear fairly quickly.

you doing good with the peroxide and antibiotic. i know duck tape will hold good on animals. try using a liquid bandage such as bandaid liquid bandage. if gets down to it trim the hair around their ears. just make sure your using guase on the wounds if you using any kind of tape. in the summer, earmites, mosquitos, fleas, and ticks are really bad. it might be earmites or fleas. dogs can also get sun burn especially if their hair and skin are light colored. you can go to a local grocery store to get things for that kind of stuff. or you can go to www.petmeds.com and get treatment for cheaper than at a pet store. the delivery time isn't long. there is an antibiotic you can by at a grocery store, im not sure what its called but its in and small boddle about 3 to 4 in. tall and the liquid is yellow. it has oil in it, and an healing angents.you wont beleive how quit it helps the wounds heal. its used for ear mites, cuts and stractes and its cheap. i bought mine at food lion for about 3 dollars. try it, it might help.

Not sure what your dogs have done so horribly wrong that they are forced to live their lives outside. I would recommend that you either bring them inside or rehome them where they can live their lives inside with a family. Should you choose not to do either of those 2 things. Go out and get K9 Advantix and Interceptor. You may also want to take a trip to the vet to rule out any type of infection as well. Not only could their wounds get infected but they could have ear infections as well. Make sure you have plenty of shelter out there for them as well as plenty of fresh drinking water. During those hot summer days, they need to be cool otherwise they can have a heat stroke and die.

how very cruel of you to allow you animals to be litterally eaten alive by mosquitos, black flies,, etc... perhaps you could rehome your dogs ... OF COURSE your dogs are all bitten up and scratching, you have told us that you don't take care of them properly,, by leaving them outside 24/7 chances are they will have heartworm disease too caused by mosquitos. UGH!!!
