The Bible is a book of rules and regulations of living life. I would have to believe of all the books ever written, the Bible is the most outstanding book ever written.
Everyone has an opinion on the Bible but, if we take every verse with a note of understanding, we can survive in society and continue with life with a well being and comfort.

You have to read the bible over and over , also do your home work ,compare scripture with scripture. You can't read a verse or the bible just once and say well it means this...The more you faithfully read , the more God will let you understand . The bible is full of information on how we are to live a meaning full life...how to manage our life, money ,social life, etc. In the bible it shows how the word always turns the other way from God , and God is always there to correct us , punish us, and wants us to rely on him like we rely on our father as we grew up. And stay in contact with him in daily prayer life.

I ask the holy Spirit to guide me when reading the bible. When I have a question it usually gets answer really soon through another Christian, church, or through reading the bible. The Holy Spirit will guide you if you will just ask Him to.
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Explaining it to other people who already have a million and one wrong interpretations of scripture. When you point this out to them, they get all pissy and nasty about it, and tell you how wrong you are. It doesn't seem to matter to them that I've been studying it since before they were born. I guess alot of people were born with infallible understanding and instant knowledge, or something. Which, of course, makes me wonder why they ask for my help at all. Gee, I had this strange idea that's why they came to me in the first place.
It's that, "I want to know, but I don't want to know." thing that so many people have going.
