Well when you go to the police station to produce your documents you just point out that the car details are different
.
I am just guessing but if another car was involved the officer has accidenatlly mixed up the drivers and vehicles.

It can easily be sorted out when you produce your documents

i won't be able to have faith you're asking this question with a tone that means which you weren't interior the incorrect once then you definately state you had 3 youthful childrens interior the decrease back! What could have happened in case you had an twist of destiny and brought about harm to those 3 youthful childrens? Who could have been to blame then? What place could you have then been in without coverage? And who could have foot the bill for the driving force who might have been the third social gathering on your twist of destiny? The regulation concerning to coverage in this usa is there for a reason, specifically to guard human beings, such because of the fact the three youthful childrens you had interior the decrease back of your uninsured automobile. on the tip of the day, a migraine would not somewhat characterize an emergency and so a techniques as i'm conscious, Taxi's are available in maximum places. Failing that, public delivery is yet another decision. As for if a producer ought to have been given, could have been in a position to supply valid coverage for the time you have been caught using if a producer replaced into given? No, you won't so there could have been no element in issuing you with one. I recommend you place forwards your 'defence' in courtroom. the only way i will see you getting around the offence you have dedicated is the undeniable fact which you concept you have been insured. good success.

You had better go to the police station with the documents for the car you do drive, as otherwise you'll be summonsed for not having the appropriate documents and/or failure to produce. Is the registration number right? If not, then the police will be able to trace ownership of the other car mentioned on the producer and sort things out. If you're just objecting to the make of car and the registration number is correct, then the clerical error should be obvious from your insurance and MOT.

Do I take it that all your documents are in order? If so then you have nothing to worry about. Obviously the officer has made a mistake. Just point this out at the relevant enquiry desk when you produce the documents. There shouldn't be a problem.

Alternatively if you prefer make contact with the officer who issued the producer. He or she will no doubt recognise that they have made a mistake and reassure you that it is their error and that you have nothing to worry about if your documents are in oreder.

Ian S - Did they let you out of prison early or are you on day release? Also why do you answer questions on Law Enforcement when its clear you have no idea about this subject!!! Stick to whatever it is your good at!!!!

The police spend too much of OUR time (we pay them.) answering Yahoo questions rather than crime fighting.

It appears that when anyone says that police are incompetent for not knowing the difference between a Ka and a Saxo, they get the thumbs down.

It is either not your car and has your number plates or the officer was too stupid to be fit for his job.

FACT. A Citroen Saxo is clearly marked with the name Saxo on it. A Ford Ka has Ford Ka written on it.

Tell them about it but be very careful as the officer concerned is obviously a few bricks short of a load.
Use small simple words and talk slowly and clearly to ensure that they understand.

Police Officers are human too and are liable to the odd mistake.

If you have all the relevant documentation then there's not going to be a problem. Just point out the mistake when you produce your documents and they will make a note of it.

The reason why you have to produce your documents is to show that your vehicle was legally on the road at the time of the accident.

Its not a real problem. You're still required to produce your documents within seven days. As long as your name and address details are correct any discrepancies can be sorted out when you take your documents in. You can also contact the officer concerned and point out the error.

Go back to them and point out the error. Maybe they got the two cars mixed assuming there was 2 cars. If not just explain that the mistake was made. Good luck

get consult a solicitor for legal advice, they should be able to deal with it for you. otherwise go to police station and take relevent documents with you. it is the polices fault but make sure you get your producer back because if it goes to court youll need it cos thats your proof.
