you are conveniently 'covered' by a 'go to heaven free' card because you are not old enough to understand. What age limit does god put on this?!! Are you people for real? The rules to keep up the delusion are simply 'made up' along the way as new people question the nonsensicalness of your faith. Does anybody else see this?

Luke 18:17
I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

Children find it easier to understand what God's Kingdom is and what it requires because they have not had the time or the information given to them about what "selfish ambition" can do for them, even though it's only an illusion anyway. Mythology is governed by aspiration, not authority. Mythology's values are efficiency and entertainment, so looks count, for example, and so does heroism, even if people get killed. God's Kingdom is the opposite of mythology. It means absolutely loyalty to God and fear of him and his designated agents - parents, the governments etc. Mythologists try for something like this look, but it's only for public perusal.

Christianity means paying attention to the condition of your heart. James 3:14 - "But if you harbour bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth."

I'm sorry you see me as brainwashed. I chose to accept Christ when I was 30 years old. Children learn many concepts on spirituality when they grow up. I learned about Judaism, Nazi,Muslim and Bud- ism in public school, but our children don't have that choice any more. Brain washing includes 1 concept. Sorry no one is brain washed into Christianity.

The "rules" are constantly studied for understanding by religious scholars (at least in the Catholic church) to re-confirm that they have been interpreted correctly. The one you have latched onto was decided over 2,000 years ago and has not changed since. Contact your friendly neighbourhood theologian if you want further detailed clarification.
