Revelations talks alot about the 144000. They are there to act as judges with Jesus.
If you think about it, it makes alot of sense.
God created the earth with a purpose. (Read the book of Genesis) This was to turn the world into a garden. If everyone went to Heaven how would this be done? If more people are resurrected to Earth, God's purpose makes alot more sense.

It does not scare me. You have to read more of that for you to understand it all. Yes, God will only take 144,000 up with him and this are people that are going be part of let say it this way God's government. There are more people God will choose to live on earth, of this there is not a specific amount. For me all bible are the same, if you use the modern one the are easy to understand. If any bible has been change it will be mention in that same bible probably at the beginning or end sometimes at the end of every chapter. I dont belong in any denomination I just believe in God.

That's not the typical Christian doctrine. Most Christians have no idea where the Jehovah's Witnesses get that. The Bible doesn't say that there are only 144,000 that go to heaven. We are not even going to live in heaven for all eternity. So that's another thing that p[eople get wrong. If peopl would just read the bloomin' Bible they wouldn't have this kind of thing running around in their heads about it.

I am not scared of God. I find lessons in the bible, which help and make sense of my life. I don`t try to understand everything. I don`t understand everything. I don`t have to understand everything either to have faith. It is something i just feel.
There is enough in just the simplest teaching of what is right and what is wrong for me to try and follow Jesus`s teachings each day. I find it beneficial to concentrate on what makes perfect sense, sounds and feels right, and makes me feel at peace. I don`t think of what will be come of me at all.
What will be will happen. I just know I feel a `whole` lot better with a faith in Jesus, and better for being the best person I can. I just felt like I was turning away from good advice by sitting on the fence. Thats how i feel anyway.

The Bible mentions 144,000 witnesses from the tribes of Israel (i.e., Jewish people who believe in Jesus Christ) in Revelation, but that's not all that will be saved. In fact, Revelation 7:9 says that there will be a great multitude that no one can count before the throne. They can number mounted troops later in the book at 200 million, so you can conclude that more than 200 million will be saved, though it can still be much, much higher than that.

You must have been duped by Jehovah Witnesses. The Bible doesn't say that. Would be good if you actually read the Bible yourself.
Speaking to all believers Paul writes, "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." 1Th 4:16,17

No.
The Bible is just part of what Christianity is about.
I don't understand why some Christians take the Bible so literally. Who exactly got you on to that? A family member? A minister?
Do you really think that God is so stupid that he doesn't use metaphors? What about Jesus? He point blank used metaphors to explain spiritual truths.
Why do people overlook that?
Maybe you should read the Bible from cover to cover with the assumption that everything is meant to be literal. See if that really works out.
Of course you won't though, because it may actually challenge your beliefs, and you wouldn't be able to deal with that.
Talk about the blind leading the blind...
(And I guess you take that literally too!)

It does not say that anywhere in the Bible. What about the innumeral amount of redeemed people in Revelation 5?
"...and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands."
The 144,000 are Messianic, Jewish believers that will fulfill the commission given to them by God to bring the Light unto the gentiles.
“I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles..."-Isa 42:6

all bibles around the world are different, i believe that the first bible was true, that was written by god.. but anyway.. if that number is correct it might mean he will take that number from each and every town... it didnt say whether it was the whole world ... sometimes in the holy books, god plays with the words... i think the holy book only shows us that we should do things that are logical to us, and that feel right..
but whoever is gonna go to heaven knows and whoever is gonna go to hell has a feeling..

The 14th chapter and the 7th mentions these. The key to understanding who these are is found in 14:4, in 7:2,3 and 6:9-11.
Here we learn that these were bought from among mankind as FIRSTFRUITS, in chap 6 we see that they had the work of bearing witness, and they are killed in the manner of Christ. These Slaves of Christ are the Saints the Born Again that shall rule the earth with Christ as kings and priests. (Rev 5:10)
Whether the number is literal or not is meaningless since God and Christ select each and everyone personally who is appointed a Saint. As such the number is fixed by them.
This is the reason Christ stated that he had a little flock, the Saints, and other sheep, and they shall become one flock in the sense that both groups are faithful Christians serving God through faith in the mediator Christ's sacrifice, ransom.
Thus a great number of people shall live on a peaceful earth, a paradise, in which one government rules, God's through his King Christ and his under-kings.
-------
Isaiah 2:4And he will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples, and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
---------
Daniel 7:13,14 . . . there came with the clouds of heaven somebody like a son of man. And he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. (ACV)
---------
Daniel 7:27And that the kingdom, and power, and the greatness of the kingdom, under the whole heaven, may be given to the people of the saints of the most High: whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all kings shall serve him, and shall obey him. (DRC)
---------
Psalms 72:1 A psalm on Solomon. Give to the king thy judgment, O God: and to the king's son thy justice: 2To judge thy people with justice, and thy poor with judgment. 3Let the mountains receive peace for the people: and the hills justice. 4He shall judge the poor of the people, and he shall save the children of the poor: and he shall humble the oppressor. 5And he shall continue with the sun, and before the moon, throughout all generations. 6He shall come down like rain upon the fleece; and as showers falling gently upon the earth. 7In his days shall justice spring up, and abundance of peace, till the moon be taken sway. 8And he shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. (DRC)
