If a baby dies at birth will it go to hell as it has not accepted the lord? If this is so it means that until you are old enough to understand the brainwashing you are at risk of going to hell at anytime?

We are not born in sin, we are born with a sinful nature. Children have no knowledge of sin.

Brainwashing? Really cute. The least you could do is be a LITTLE bit more respectful.

Look, you ask us as though we know exactly how God judges everyone. We don't.

However, the God I know is a just and fair God, and He loves children. Therefore, no children would be going to hell.

And actually, in the Bible Jesus says that children will inherit the Kingdom of God. I take that to mean that all children go straight to heaven if they die before reaching an age where they can make their own decisions.

However, the Bible doesn't come right out and say it, so we just don't know.

And as a sidenote, not all people who become Christians were raised that way, or "brainwashed" into it. I know many people who were NOT raised in it who became Christians later in life.

If that child has no concept of right and wrong, it is not capable of sinning. So, God forgives them.

I look at the Bible verses of
Suffer the little children to come unto me
Unless you become as a little child, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.
And the verses that talk about us sinning after we receive knowledge that something is wrong

Those verses all indicate to me that an innocent is not going to be considered sinful and so those innocents will be in heaven.

i do not believe this, and i cannot believe that catholics thought along the same lines as this, if they did not get there child baptized after he/she was born , and it died that it would go to hell .
i am a christian , and i have a son , i however did not get him baptized , i think that is a spiritual thing that he needs to discover on his own in life. but if something were to happen to him , without a doubt i know he would go to heaven

Everyone is covered by Jesus's blood until they are old enough to really understand right from wrong and have heard the gospel.

If a baby dies at birth, it has not sinned (how could it) so he or she will sleep in the grave till the Resurrection at Jesus second coming.
The evil doctrine of original sin is a product of the Catholic church.

Rest assure that God will not send any innocent person to hell. Hell is only for those who commit sin.

well now that we answer to you, people of regions or mental handicaps that have not had the chance to know jesus will not be rejected as they had a legitamite reason not to reject him/the gospel. as for babies, born with origional sin they have sin, they may not have actualized the sin but the hope and prayer is they will be saved, possibly through purgatory. as this is all theoligical please don't be offended. god knows all , not us. for people of age and of sane mind for example atheists, they may also be saved as they never believed in the first place and situations/circumstances in their lives prevented them from belief.

Yes, I'm sure no one in religious circles has EVER considered this and they all go straight to Hell. "That's a bit of bad luck, poor little stillborn, straight to Hell for you" says the church.

A child who died growing up to maturity have not yet committed a sin willfully. He is automatically b e brought to heaven to be with God. God have other purpose for him.
