I lost my virginity at 18, one of the last of my friends to do so. My girlfriend and I had been together for 2.5 years and had plenty of opportunities to have sex, but we both thought we would wait until marriage.
Well, it's not easy to fight that temptation. When it turned out that we were about to go off to different colleges, we decided to just go for it. I am very happy that we did. I'm glad that I really loved her, instead of just doing this for the physical joy of it.
Unfortunately, long distance relationships are rough and we broke up eventually. In college, I had a few different relationships, and a few one-night deals (such as after drinking and partying). There were so many girls and so many meaningless opportunities. Yes, it was often fun, but after a while I felt really tired of being promiscuous. It's weird for a guy to say this, but it didn't feel good afterwards to have that much sex.
Sex is so much more satisfying when you wait for love.

I was 22 to my then husband.
Wait for love? No. Wait until you're old enough, until you're able to pay your own bills and not living under the same roof with your parents.

Almost 15, because I was madly in love, but it didnt last, and I guess in retrospect, I was way too young.
