True Christians don't vote and are not involved in politics.
The Bible shows, that true Christians do not advocate or preach democracy, socialism, communism or any other form of human government as a remedy for the world’s woes. What Christians preach is a heavenly government, the kingdom of God. And that kingdom is not part of this world. Said Jesus: “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.”—John 18:36

That is an interesting twisting of facts. Islamic fundies are strapping bombs to themselves! Even the sick, twisted guy who killed the abortionist doesn't compare to that! If he blew up the whole church, we would have a comparison. And I beleive Bush beleived Saddam has WMDs. He did NOT start the war out of Christian fundamentalism. I also beleive he was very wrong to start that war. He should have waited a year, seeing what else intelligence woudl have come up with. By that time, he would have realized they didn't have WMDs and not gone in. Also, if Iran and N Korea had acted up, he would have realized he couldn't spread the troops that thin.

I put this phenomenon into the category with those evangelicals that deny the importance of global warming. They don't fear their predicted Armageddon, because the believe they won't be hear when the s**t hits the fan. So why not promote things that will bring that particular prophesy to fruition?

True christians are loyal to God's kingdom and do not get involved in politics. Bible prophecy indicates that Israel lost all special significance when they broke their covenant with God by murdering his son. Armageddon will involve all the earth's governments resisting God's kingdom culminating in the destruction of all human government. All the so called fundamentalists and evangelicals who mix politics and the bible do so in direct violation of Jesus' command to be no part of the world.

In the prophecy, we are meant to protect Israel. And that in no way leads, not stops Armageddon from occurring. So if anyone votes with Israel in mind, it would not be to forward the end of the world, it is clear from Revelations, it wont change.

What's truly funny about this is the fact that I have been to a particular Jewish-American site before and it said, "How do we get Israel (blah blah blah...something about getting to be so independent that they don't have to listen to anybody else etc etc....and how they can have all of Israel for themselves)...so the answer??? It was befriend Christians and get them to work for US (the Jews) & our cause!!!
