My microwave purchased 2 yrs ago... is working well but then sometimes lets say once in 10 days ..it will start but not actually warm my food .... I would hear only fan ... and after every 8 seconds it will stop without actually starting the warm process... sometimes I would hear the sound like heart beat from microwave dhak dhak .... and it will not warm ... and then next day it will be working okay.... I don't understand why?

the magnetron is attached to a large capacitor which has a large gauge wire going to the chassis. often the terminals on that wire will corrode. if a terminal was loose it leads to arcing which gives corrosion a place to start. that can prevent the magnetron from working sometimes.
if you feel competent, unplug your MW and check that. there are dangers so if you have any hesitation, just buy a new one.

Microwaves, just like other appliances, can break down.
Your's sounds like it has some problems. Rather than risk a fire, I think you should replace it.
