If you factory order a car, you can have it shipped to any dealer. The delivering dealer will charge the selling dealer a fee, and that will be added to your purchase price. (this is usually done with fleet accounts and is called a Courtesy Delivery)

Several things to consider. If you are going to have the car in CA, you will need to order one with the CA Emissions package. Most likely you will be looking at a 8-10 week wait to get the car built and shipped. You also are going to be paying several hundred dollars more for the service!

If you do not want to drive to CA, why not purchase the vehicle when you get there?

I guess it can be factory ordered and shipped to a dealer in CA, but it's a hassle.
It's none of my business what you do, but I'd just buy it in CA.
If you think you can buy a car cheaper in IL, forget it, you'll have problems with CA Emissions Standards and spend a lot of time on all this "buy here, pick up there deal."

Take the automobile lower back, dealerships have you ever sign a conditional transport style declaring that if financing isn't gained for you, you compromise to return the automobile. do no longer bypass alongside with the vast charge bump. yet another vehicle will never be well worth the financial problems. in the event that they have not got your commerce-in, cause them to pay what develop into on the orginal settlement, they might desire to. many circumstances dealerships will inflate the commerce in cost on the settlement to make it seem extra suitable to the financial business enterprise....they might desire to offer you the commerce in lower back or pay the quantity on the settlement. Dealerships are infamous for domestic dog-dogging consumers, this is putting human beings in vehicles and rolling the cube on financing. Why do they try this? to attempt to take you out of the industry...they're afraid which you would be able to get a vehicle someplace else in the previous they might get you authorized or they need you coach anybody you be attentive to the automobile, brag approximately it and interior the top conform to pay thank you to plenty for it. i'm hoping you found out a lesson right here....do no longer take a vehicle from a dealership till each thing is finalized.
