Probably because you grew up on a high salt diet and now you dont like fresh food. Try cutting salt out of your diet and watch the flavours change!.. taste the flavours change.

Unless you're taking a vitamin supplement, you must like some type of fruit of vegetable. If not, you would be depleted of a lot of nutritious vitamins.
You really should try introducing fruit and vegetables to your diet. Try drinking Diet V-8 Splash--it's a a juice made from a combination of fruits, it's only 10 calories per serving, or, V-8. Amongst their many properties, fruit and vegetables lower the risks of cancer!

Vegetables contain sulphur compounds that are actually slightly toxic and taste as children we are highly sensitive to the taste. It tastes bad to protect us at a young age from consuming too much of these toxic compunds.
As we get older our bodies can remove these toxins and they are totally harmless but unless we are conditioned to think that veg is ok to eat, we continue to avoid eating it.
Or you just dont like the taste of veg, same way I dont like mushrooms.

Try cooking them different ways - eg. roasting root vegetables or sauteing courgettes and mushrooms in garlic rather than just boiling or steaming which can make them taste rather bland.

Well cos they are natural and organic. We are used to processed foods that are enhanced to appeal and taste good. If you smoke stop, if you eat a lot of processed foods which you usually cannot help nowadays stop! in fact stop everything and trust me if your starving you will enjoy veg lol
