Here's how the payouts are calculated - just having 2 numbers isn't enough to win anything...

6/6 - 80.5 % of the Pools Fund
5/6 + Bonus - 5.75 % of the Pools Fund
5/6 - 4.75 % of the Pools Fund
4/6 - 9 % of the Pools Fund
3/6 - $10 prize
2/6 + Bonus - $5 prize

Edit: (The payouts for 4/6 and higher change once the Jackpot reaches a certain level - but I would just be happy to win anything more than $10) ;);)

As for the "extra" numbers (they are called Encore, btw) - it all depends on where in the sequence they occur. Usually, you are looking for either the first or the last number to match the one on your ticket. Here's all the combinations:
