Referring obviously to the big bang. How do you get symetry and order from an explosion--that is quite contrary to the laws of physics?
Also how would you obtain such rational and symetrical results from random evolution from bacteria?
It really seems quite too good to be true. I find this random chance theory, much harder to support and believe in, than faith in God, which seems to come naturally, man has always naturally believed in God, Why? And if you ask why my God, I ask that you refute the evidence of historical accuracy, and deny that the book of Revelation does not paint a very good picture of the world's current events.
But I would appreciate your views?

X-theist----I welcome your comments, logically speaking---God has no designer, much like your first living cell came from nowhere, the cause is unknown, God says "I have no beginning and no ending." We have a hard time since we are creatures of time relating to the idea of "no beginning." But can we say that life always existed? When , and more importantly, why did the first living cell, become alive?

This is really a good question. Maybe our atheist friends should go to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They should investigate if there is another species evolve after the big bang...

The big bang theory. I can't stop laughing everytime I came across it.

Posting a science question in the religion and spirituality section often means the asker does not really want an answer. His goal is to ask a question that he believes proves some scientific knowledge to be wrong, or that science does not yet answer, and make the implicit claim that the only other explanation is a god, and specifically, the same god he happens to believe in.

It's the "god of the gaps" - intellectually bankrupt, since it favors ignorance instead of knowledge, and because of the contained logical fallacy.

However, on the off chance that you really want to know the answer:

Claim CE441:
The universe was supposedly formed in the big bang, but explosions do not produce order or information.
Source:
Big-Bang-Theory, 2002. http://www.big-bang-theory.com
Response:

1. The total entropy of the universe at the start of the big bang was minimal, perhaps almost zero. Because it was so compact, it had considerably more order than the universe we are in now. The complexity we observe around us today can be produced from the ultimate order of the hot but cooling gas of the big bang.

2. The big bang was not an explosion. It was an expansion. Besides the fact that it got bigger over time, the big bang has almost nothing in common with an explosion.

3. Explosions do produce some order amidst their other effects:

* Large surface explosions, such as nuclear bombs, produce the familiar mushroom clouds. There are not very highly ordered, but they are not purely random, either.
* Supernovae produce heavy elements, and the shock waves from them compress interstellar gases, which begins the formation of new stars.
* Powerful explosions can compress carbon into diamond crystals, the most ordered arrangement.
* Explosions of atomized gasoline produce compressed gas, which is harnessed in internal combustion engines to power automobiles and other equipment.

As for the rest: by writing 'random evolution' you proved you do not actually understand what evolution is.

The Bible would not count huge style? nicely ok- Does technology evaluate the organic regulations or the precision of the particular universe? Does technology evaluate that they have got yet to detect existence on the different planet in our photograph voltaic equipment different than the earth; the place the ambience of such has merely the dazzling proportion of gases to maintain existence? Does technology additionally evaluate that our earth is merely the dazzling distance from the sunlight and the moon for human existence, and how the earth strikes at merely the dazzling velocity to be held in orbit? i'm 61 years old and there is an exact order to the universe and human existence which could no longer be denied in smart layout. The thoughts, the living cellular-what you talk of merely would not make any experience-huge Bang theory? Evolution? each and every house is built by capacity of somebody, yet he that built all issues is God and that bills for the hardship-loose similarities interior the actual universe and the form of living issues. each and every thing has the comparable large clothier!!

Oohh... bringing up physics? You do realize that prominent creationist organizations tell you NOT to use the thermodynamics argument! Even your own people realize how stupid that one is.

Don't believe me, search the web for "arguments creationists shouldn't use"

PS - Also, evolution is not a random process. You just displayed a TOTAL lack of understanding about evolution by calling it random. Most of the people reading your "question" are going to realize just how ignorant you are... here is a tip, at least try to understand what you are b***hing about before you start - otherwise you look like a fool.

People of faith may trod recklessly where people of science must tread carefully, with microscopes and rulers at every turn.

A person of faith may speak recklessly and impulsively of the weight of God, a person of science must weigh the very essence of Earth itself, to the precision of the tools available to them.

If you think a scientist does not do the work of God in knowing the exact weight of a hydrogen atom, and must thus speak from what evidence as it it thus presented to them, then you walk by the beggar in the road, while a scientist is in a lab somewhere, measuring the ratio of acetomotephin needed to reduce the bruising from the wounds he has sustained.

"deny that the book of Revelation does not paint a very good picture of the world's current events."

Denied. It fit events of 1500-1900 years ago much better, no matter how you try to stretch the story into one size fits all eras.

Fossil record indicates that "intelligent creator" was using trial-and-error method. How intelligent is that?

Symmetry is only external. YOur heart is on one side, stomach is on another, left hand is weaker than right, brain hemispheres are specialized, etc ...

PS you gotta quit mentioning Revelation.

It was a satire aimed at Roman church of 4th century, and silly people had been saying "it's happening now" ever since.
Kinda like Nostradamus writings have predicted everything from Napoleon to 9/11

didnt people make up the thought of "symmatry" ??
so .. its hard for me to put it into words.
i mean, maybe that its not so hard to believe
we are so symetrical.

If you can question that, you should have no problem asking "Who made God"

Why are you being so bias?
