Its not all that hard. First you get a job, pay the rent, bills, insurance, etc, cook all your own meals, do all your own laundry. You get the picture yet?

You are still a minor. You can have things your way only when you are independent. That means you are totally on your own. I don't know what are the things your parents won't allow you to do, but, I think at least they care to mind your business. I'd been your age and have teenagers at home now. I know exactly how you feel. Give us more detail so that we could tell what's the best thing you should do.
Take it easy.

The answer to this question depends on what you are willing to give up.
At 16 you can drive so you could run away and leave a note but you would be giving up your license if they caught you.
And if they will never catch you because you will never come back then you are giving up your room and being taken care of (food & rent).
If you are willing to give up being taken care of you can use any words you want to.
You will need to look into a job and place to stay before you use mean words though.
Think hard before you decide to write off people who love you.
You might want to ask them why they are like that before you decide it's not OK.
I hope it works out for you.

You ought to get on your knees and kiss their @$$ because they are concerned about you. Just because you are 16 doesn't mean squat in the real world. How well do you know these "friends" of yours or their parents? Do you know anything that goes on outside your own little circle? Check out what happens to smart 16 year olds who decide to walk away and do their own thing. The pimps are waiting for you at the bus station.

Spoiled brat!
Your parents obviously have your best interests at heart. You don't see it now because you're under their thumb, but when you move out, get a job, and have to pay your own bills you will appreciate what they tried to do for you. Why don't you introduce your friends to your parents? What are you trying to hide?
If you want to "do your own thing" go ahead but make sure you have a decent income. Good luck with that at 16!

Imagine yourself in their shoes, they're just concerned and care. Don't take it as they're invading your privacy and trying to tortue you.. they just want you to be safe. In order for you to earn more freedm make them meet your friends parents and if they haven't even meet your friends yet do that too.
