A 35 yr old man wants to date me I know him from around, he has dated alot of women he has a good job which allows him a pretty good life. but my red flag is that he says it has been six years since his last relationship. IS THAT STRANGE OR WHAT IS POSSIBLY UP WITH THAT??

Six years could mean he was burned and doesnt want to get serious. Or there were no females interested in him
But at 35 you are a lot more comfortable with who you, so you are less likely to feel the need to date seriously like you do in your teens.
I have a feeling that you asked this cos you are pretty young. And you think that if this guy isnt married now - whats wrong with him?? Maybe he was just waiting to meet you....
At the same time I wonder why he felt the need to tell you that he hasnt had a relationship for 6 years - he is either playing the "Im hard to get but maybe you can tame me" angle, or he is telling you that he just wants a bit of fun.
I am sure you will be able to tell which it is!

No, six years is a good amount of time for someone his age. Most men don't like being hurt, and usually stay far away from committment if they do end up being hurt. That's probably the case with this person, he has been hurt a few too many times. The fact that he is showing interest in you is a positive sign for him and you. It means that the attraction is strong enough that you have brought him "back" so to speak. Pat yourself on the back for that one :-D.
So, in conclusion, not weird at all, ride it out and see where it goes. Good Luck!

Talk to him, find out what his values are, what his interests are and what his plans for the future are. Find out why he has been single for 6 years. Ask a lot of questions. That is the only way to find out, ask him.
