There's not much you can do to make it grow faster... you can be sure to eat enough protein so that it doesn't grow slower, but this won't do anything if you were getting enough to begin with.

Depending on the person, hair grows about half an inch every month, give or take. So your hair will probably be a little bit below your shoulders in August... an inch or so longer. I know my hair grows fast, so I'd get about two inches... you know better than anyone else whether your hair is fast, slow, or average-growing.

Hair grows 6 inches a year (on average) so thats a half an inch per month. Your hair will have grown about 1 inch by the time school starts back in August.

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed. I promise.

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

I heard prenatal pills are supossed to help it grow faster, but i would just wear it up a lot if I were you. Also, I wouldn't trim it every month like people say!!

Due to laziness, I haven't cut my hair in six months, and yes my ends are getting split, but my hair has grown a lot!!! I always did what I'm told, every 6-8 weeks, forget that idea.

At least for me, I want to give my hair to locks of love... I don't regret letting it grow. Also, could you clip any of the layered parts up with barettes?

Leave it alone for a while. My freakin stupid azz stylist did the same about 2 months ago and I kept mine in a pony tail for about that long and it finally grew out some and I like it now.
Don't get it trimmed or anything. You can style it or just put it up for a while. You have plenty of time. It will probably grow out about 3 inches or more.

Hair grows 1/2 inch every month. There's some pills and vitamins that you can take that might help. There's also shampoos on the market that say they help with hair growth.

Hair grows on average at the rate of 1/2" per month. You'll get about an inch of growth by late August. Eat well (lots of protein, fruits and veggies, and take a multivitamin with minerals), get your beauty rest, don't obsess about your looks, and you'll wake up beautiful before you know it. Honest.
