That is about the grade I was horrified during Christmas concert - I refused to participate in the tango for the class christmas school community concert. I was in grade 9 and taller than most boys so I know sometimes being tall can also create some side effects. If you really like her, you can ask her to out to a movie, ask her for e-mail address, text message her if you both have cells, and actually just be yourself - that is how you attract people, This girl will notice that you are down to earth, trying to be someone you're not sometimes can people wonder about you.
Just believe in yourself is all I can say, don't take your first no as final answer, some girls always play hard to get at first and then they finally give in.

Height does not matter. Let her know you like her. Having you interested in her means a lot in a girl. I think you being open about this is cute. You're kind of sensitive. Let her know you, the real you. Who knows she could be totally digging you too.
