Understanding the Bible
Is such a major chore
I'd rather just work in a store.

Meditating under lotus
Makes my blood flow stop
So I just drink more soda pop.

All these endless notions
Karma and devotion
Man just give me more hand lotion.

If I can't see it
It is too hard to believe
What else do these jokers have up their sleeve.

This poem is really crappy
But it is late at night.
So please turn off the light.

INHERITED SIN

LORD, I know I understand all that has been.
Why man is here to die from inherited sin,
Total variety in religions, for a variety of men,
Man will survive death and religion in the end.

We all have a savior, a very special friend,
He is there from the beginning unto the end,
Rescued from death, religion and inherited sin,
Then only will all the vast billions understand.

In Adam all die, so in Christ all are made alive.
It is not religion, but Jesus giving all eternal life,
Only Satan, Gog and Magog will not survive,
That gives every one back to Adam due rights.

Souls created, born to die, or all resurrected,
God's spirit is life of every soul, none rejected,
Here we have a short life, it is to be perfected,
Into a resurrection that is SPIRIT OF GOD injected.
Psm.104:29,30; Eze.37:12-14; Isa.26:19; Eccl.3:19-21; 12:7; 1Cor.15:22-28,51-53; Rev.21:1-6,12,13 [ all resurrected ];
Rev.21:1-5 [ All made new and perfect ], 8 [second death ];
Rev.20:7-10 [ After 1000 years, no Satan, Gog or Magog ].

Didn't know exactly what kind of poem to write- so i read your profile- and i hope this encourages you.

Kindly,

Nickster

Title: The Lord is Near!!!

Though we can not see Him; the Lord is near
He knows our hearts, and He counts our tears
He also counts the hairs on our head
And knew us before and after we're dead

We may struggle with anger, pride, envy, or lust
He remembers our frame that we are mere dust
But dust whose lungs are filled with God's breath of life
One day redeemed as Christ's bride; His wife

God listens, speaks, and is faithful to love
God is near though we think he's just sitting above
Through the Holy Spirit He dwells in the hearts of men
So that he can speak to them again and again

When we look around we wonder who cares
But the light of the world frees us from despair
Our hope is found not in the world that we live
But in God's only Son whom he freely did give

Psalm 73:28- But as for me, The nearness of God is my good. ...

each night before i close my eyes to sleep
i get down on my knees to pray
please let no nightmares in to creep
no monsters can i slay

you have taken me to far away places
holding my hand each step of the way
our footsteps leaving no traces
the monsters were kept at bay

by putting by faith and trust in you
my fears and anxiety disappeared
the sky was once again blue
the sun has reappeared

We place no reliance
On virgin or pigeon;
Our Method is Science,
Our Aim is Religion.

SIMPLY ASSISTING GOD
I am a humble artist
moulding my earthly clod,
adding my labour to nature's,
simply assisting God.
Not that my effort is needed;
yet somehow, I understand,
my maker has willed it that I too should have
unmoulded clay in my hand.
---Piet Hein

I like you girl,
I ain't after your bod
I just wanna be friends
I swear to God!

Amid jeers and blows and cries of hate
He walked a road towards cruel fate
Alone in spirit mind and heart
And dying so from sin we part

I crave God
Like Ted Haggard craves Meth,
Like fishermen crave cod.
I breathe him with each breath

I was once quite a good Christian kid
I believed what they said Jesus did
His Dad was the boss
He said "Son... to the cross!"
But the truth from me they'd always hid
