Anyone know where I can get a transmission gasket for a 1974 Dodge Dart?

I have searched online and find every relpacement part, but that. Please advise.

okay it is similar to plymouth duster or plymouth vailant(same model family) so finding a replacement tranny gasket is not hard to find but dodge dart is not a widely known model so use engine size and use Plymouth Vailant as your model and use the same year and you will never know you will be surprised what it comes up so there and best way is go to an part store in person and they will usually have it it costs about $10 for auto tranny gasket for 2 types of transmission A727 and A904 u might want to check under your car to find which one is the right one for your car the A904 is almost square while the A727 is not oh!! i found a site you can find a part that will fit your car www.autozone.com

Forget looking on-line. Call all your local auto parts stores and ask. I am presuming you are talking about an automotive transmission. You can probably get a filter/gasket kit fairly inexpensively. If you need a gasket for a manual transmission, then it's not as common, but available. Just call around. Don't settle on the first price quote, either. I manage an auto parts store on the Oregon coast. I have 5 competitors, and if you call everyone, you will get 6 different prices for the same part. Each one is usually as good as the others, so don't get trapped into thinking store "A"s part is a better one then store "B" or "C", no matter what the partsman tells you.

Which gasket, which transmission? If it's the pan gasket, any parts store and all dealerships stock them. Since there is a pan gasket available, I would not use silicone.
