I hate to say this, but so do girls.
Flirting is a national past time, and diffierent cultures practice this flirting games their whole lives.
I am aghast to find that some people interpret flirting as a "come-on" invitation to something else. It isnt.
It is a make others feel good about themselves habit. It comes out as " what a nice dress or outfit you have on today" "you have a haircut ! It makes you look 10 years younger"
All this does not mean I like you in that way. All it means is perhaps she or he likes you as a friend. Now you go and say something nice to another human being.

Guys are not as emotional and intelligent as women are. A lot of guys flirt only to get into a girls' pants. But then you have the (rare) guys who are sweet and sensitive.
Advice for the ladies: Don't give in so easily and have some self-respect.
It makes life difficult for those perverted guys!! And I am not saying all guys are big, pathetic jerks. It takes a smart woman to weed those ones out so they won't get hurt or used.
If a guy flirts with you for no reason, tell him how you feel.

i think its cause they want you to want them. They think if they make u think they like you then youll want to go out with them. but then if you ask them they would disagree. its hard... pretty much i think they do it cause guys think its cool to be seen flirting with alot of girls

they want to play mind games with you try to make you go after them instead of the reverse of that and they want you to wonder why they do that stuff and you are falling for it

oh my gosh i am wondering the same thing. that happened to me with one guy i really liked...but he is a loser. you should proble just move on. i did and im so happy i did.
