Well at least ur honest ! Volunteer to work at a soup kitchen or homeless shelter or better yet spend some time helping at an animal shelter, either place will humble u a bit if u have any compassion for humans or animals.See the darker side of life for the poor and helpless. Good luck, girl, may u find a new purpose in life.

You could always volunteer at a local hospital or work with a program like Habitat for Humanity. You would be focusing on others and helping a good cause.

Remain focused on yourself...nothing wrong with that. AND take time for others that need a helping hand in your community. You will find great satisfaction with helping a cause you can care about.

Hi:
You find some one who NEEDS to be focused on and that is what you do. You remove the focus from you and you willingly give the focus to the person in NEED.
Be safe and be well

One of the best things I did that took the focus off of me, was to go backpacking with friends - you know - for several days without washing your hair, no electricity, no car, no buildings. It was one of the most humbling, yet empowering experiences of my life. We were each as self-sufficient as possible, and yet we each recognized the need to help others in the group and that we were dependant on them, too.
I was just having fun and being funny, where you feel like you can be yourself and not needing to prove anything to anyone.

i guess you have to fall in love with somebody or if you get involved with other people there seems to always be a problem someone has and you will have to step up and help and at that moment you won't be able to focus on yourself, i think being alone too much might cause a person to focus too much on themselves

Try finding something important enough to focus on other than yourself.
Do you have a boyfriend? If no, then maybe you should get one. Find a hobby. Find something more interesting than yourself.

read the world news at least once a day.
you will realize how much is going on in the world, and hopefully you will focus on helping others rather than yourself.

If you focus on other people, you don't have time to focus on yourself. Find a cause or issue that speaks to you and persue it. Work on your relationships with other people.

Hold your head up, put on a smile, and find somebody to do something for. Then do it again, and again.
