Really? Thousands of Buddhists Monks in Thailand,China, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Burma, Sri Lanka, India, Tibet, Malaysia and all over the world don't use anti-depressants, they apply meditative techniques to stablise the mental state and to deal with stress.
Then again, wasn't there some Pastor called Haggard caught with dangerous mind altering drugs last year? He ain't an atheist i believe

a million. Why do you pick to no longer have faith particularly than have faith? this is what i've got faith is robust and authentic.. 2. Is it your opinion that we grow to be merely ashes and decaying bones after dying, or is there something greater? it particularly is it earnings from now.. 3. Do you have faith that technology can finally clarify all, hence there is "no choose" for a god? i've got faith technology will finally clarify maximum.. there'll continually be greater questions as getting to know continually ends up in new questions.. 4. Do you think of that the universe, or something for that remember, say, the sensation after a accepted kiss, the thoughts one gets on a spring day after a protracted, no longer elementary iciness, an elementary leaf, with its divine shape, neverending complexity, can ever be defined by capacity of technology? no longer how they could influence us chemically, yet motives of the authentic intensity below. from time to time the authentic answer is the easy chemical answer.. no longer each and every thing has intensity nor desires it.. 5. Does anybody accept as true with my assertion. it particularly is a risk to have faith in God a hundred%, yet no longer be of any prepared faith. i've got faith in freedom of religion that contains finding out on no non secular association no remember what someone's own ideals are..

No.
I would venture a guess, if an atheist is depressed they are much more likely to seek help from a doctor, since it is a medical condition, than read a dusty old book and pray it goes away.
