You go for who you go for, some people like younger, some people like older, and some people like the same age. You can never really tell.

Interesting question and concept. Some women age badly and some don't but hey older women are going for younger men as well, may be men are becoming slower and unattractive because of their age.

That's one aspect of it. Another consideration is that most older women become embittered and self absorbed. They lose there capacity for fun and spontanaiety. There's also the ego boost an older man gets from teaching a younger woman the ropes, sexually and/or financially.
