Is it possible? Well, yes, anything is possible. There is nothing that could physically prevent a person of any faith )or lack there of) from entering a church or any other building. It's not like the hand of god would hold the Satanist back preventing his entry.
Is it moral? Not from a Christian perspective. From a satanic perspective, sure. Why not. If he gets some sort of personal satisfaction from it, then there is no problem.
DreamAnGeL S, ☺ּҢξřξ†ıς, SDC and a few others seam to think that a Satanist in a church doesn’t make sense. Some of the responders seam to have the idea that a Satanist worships the devil. This is, for the most part, untrue.
There are a few misguided people that seam to think that Satanist practice some form of devil worship, but the fact is most simply believe that organized religion is general and Christianity in particular is so screwed up and wrong that they follow a path that is virtually in complete opposition of the Christian beliefs. One of their paramount believes is that a person should do what they feel is the right thing to do to better themselves or simply to entertain themselves. So, if your friend is a Satanist, then he may go to church for the amusement of listening to the absolutely ridiculous nonsense uttered by the pastor or priest. If this is the case, then hey, it's no different then you going to a comedy club...except that churches is far less exciting.

NO.. not through satanism. Levayan Satanism is mostly atheistic in practice. It is about living to the fullest aspect of your human existance and promoting humankind and celebrating self. It's sorta atheistic in a humanistic manner. Supernatural and psychic abilities reach beyond this mundane plane and take practice in stretching out your spirit and usually this is done in solitarian practice, like that of a hermit.. on some levels, depending where you are. One clashes with the other.. but I must say that there was a time when I had met some satanists and atheists, for that matter, that did question their own psychic or paranormal encounters. In saying this, I have to acknowledge other 'satanistic' branches that might practice development of ritualistic magick and psychic abilities.. These would be temple of set, Lucifernarism and Gnostic Satanism (partially thelemic offshoots that couple witchcraft, levayan, and thelemic undertones)... However, you cannot go in thinking you are going to 'gain' supernatural powers.. It's more about self development and discovery.. satanism (except to Lucifernarians) believe in protecting to the weak willed.. so.. work for good and not evil. I'll quit rambling now!

Sure it is. Going to church just means you're going to church. Now if you were to ask "Is it possible to practice Satanism and be a Christian at the same time" the answer would be "No, it's not".

Well, its perfectly possible that you know someone who is "spiritually challenged", my dear! Dont be suprised at the twistedness in which youll find in this world, theres just as much of "the opposite", and that is something you have to realize as a Truth.Satanists are very interesting people, and much like everyone else in alot of ways. However they also beleive in "The Other Side", the power behind finding that Balance.Balance of the soul, of being. And freedom......

they wouldn't want to. chances are they are not satanic, they may follow a different religious path such as wicca (which is, in many ways compatable with christianity).
morality is relative and different to different people. it is only immoral if they are going to church to 'ensure salvation' or to do harm to those in church (highly unlikly).
chances are your suspicions are unfounded and that you have nothing to worry about, and if they are satanist chaces are they may like different aspects of both religions and want to try to mesh them together. in that case they should be left to believe what they want as long as they don cause anyone harm

Most satanists like to "fly in the face" of organized religion. I don't feel that a real satanist would be spending any time in church at all.

of course it's possible--one of the first things Lavey tells his followers to do is join a LDS church, because it's a protective religion that gives money to it's parishoners in need--if you'd read the satanic bible you'd already know

What makes you think it's Satanism? It's possible that this person could be exploring other spiritual paths, but that does not mean he/she's a Satanist. Perhaps you could talk to him/her about it.

Of course it is possible. The question is why he does it. Some christians pretend being satanists to spy on them and destroy their credability and maybe then some satanists also pretend being christians because they have a plan with it.

I saw a segment on CNN where convicts were practicing Satanism in prison. It looked proper there.
