I'm always nervous when my mom speaks, because sometimes she says things to annoy my father. I'm afraid he might get physical.

Also my parents and family aren't saved. I feel pressured to do something, although i'll be laughed at, and maybe even be disrespecting themshow how. Or they will think i'm some weirdo.

In my family, between my father and I. I am indifferent or mad and hate him. We don't believe in expressing our feelings. I must show him respect. He doesn't say I love you. I'm a man 19 years old. But I don't care. It would be too weird for me to say it or for him to say it.

Also i'm insecure and feeling alone in this world. See i'm fighting sin and temptation and it's taking a toll on me. I'm one that tries not to give in. Think about the withdrawal effect.

Am I working against my sex drive? Because I don't have lust for women. I control that. I stay away from ungodly things.

Friend, I had the same problem with my family, my parents used to fight a lot and my mother really got physical many times. But these are not things that come from them, these are products of society and the struggle that it brings. Do not worry about trying to save your family, God has plans for them the same he has plans for you. Show your faith but don't push them. Make sure you are doing the right thing too. I also waited for my father to say I love you to me, He never did, I even wrote a poem about my frustration. He only had work for me to do all the time.

As I grew older I understood that It is not necessary to say I love you to love somebody, and that he just wanted me to be strong because a man must be strong in life. Now I see how much he loves me. You also don't have to say I love you to him, but if you feel like saying it then say it or you might feel like a hypocrite.

Having lust for women is not a good thing, so you are okey. You maybe should just look for a woman who shares interests with you. Put your mind in securing a future for you and your will be family. And in preparing yourself to be the greatest Dad there ever was!

Prayer is always the answer, but waiting for God's best answer is always hard.
Get into an active bible believing youth group and find a trusted older person leader who is a parent who can relate.

I can tell you if you were my son I would be very proud of you. When I was your age I needed what you are asking for now but I didn't know how to express my problem as well as you have. You are on theright track in life but don't let other people's negativity pull you down !!! Opening your heart up to your dad might be an answer. The one thing I can do for you is to pray for you tonight !!! Thank you for expressing your heart. God bless you and I know He will because He doesn't miss a thing that happens in your life !and is willing to help !!!

Dude, my heart goes out to you. I will be praying for you.

You have to let go of your anger towards your father--even if he doesn't treat you any better. Pray to God that He will take this anger and pressure from you. When He does--and if you confess your sins and give them to Christ, He WILL--be salt and light for your parents. Love them the way you wish them to love you, and they will notice. Pray that God will send someone into their lives to make an impact--maybe you, maybe someone else.

As far as fighting temptation, you don't have to. That's right---you don't have to. Give that temptation up to God--He will provide a way out...and you take it.

You say you are insecure and alone...do you have a church you attend? If you do, see about getting into a small group Bible study. If they don't have one, try getting involved in some sort of service activity where you can make connections with other believers like yourself. Trust me, you are not alone, and others are hurting just like you. The difference between Christians and non-believers is that we have a secure HOPE in the things to come...which allows us to endure ANYTHING this world can throw at us. But we need to rely on God.

I could quote you scripture all night, but I won't. Get involved, get on your knees and pray, and get connected. God Bless you and your heart. I will be praying for you!!!

First of all, if your mother or you are in real physical danger, or ever get hurt, you should call the police -- they have people to deal with these situations.

Otherwise, you seem to be someone who doesn't try to impose himself on others -- you don't feel comfortable sharing your thoughts with them if it might make them unhappy. But if you're always going out of your way in consideration of them, it becomes tedious for you, and they don't notice it.

Perhaps you can find ways of making your thoughts and views known without being rude or disrespectful: for example, saying something like, "I feel like you fight about the same things over and over, and I'm afraid because I care about you." Or, "It's really important to me that I share this with you." The trick is to phrase it as something you feel -- they can't argue with that, and it's not an attack on them.

Also, reach out to people around you! There are people who can give you advice, cut you some slack at work or something, or do you a favor if you ask them for it. Or simply just to hear you out and prove to you that you're not alone.

for God does not give us a spirit again to fear but of power , love, and the soundness of mind.
We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and the evil forces of darkness in this world.
May the Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
May the Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
May the Lord lift up his approving countenance upon you, and give you peace ( tranquility of heart and life continually);
I pray that you continually seek Holiness in the presence of God finding favor in His sight to do the impossible by the name of the Lord most high Jesus Christ. you need not that any man teach you but by the Holy Ghost that was sent down from Heaven to bring comfort and joy to the children of God. For those who are led by the Spirit of God these are the sons of God. Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven, pursue God and He will bring enlightenment as to how all things are made possible through Jesus Christ, even the salvation of your parents and the ability to express Love.

I am sure you pray being a godly man but one must believe in their prayers. That is how we obtain the petition we request from God. You just pray and wait on God and he will work it out somehow at his timing.

God will never abandon you, because he loves you so much! God will supply you with the strength needed to carry on through your trials and tribulations. Say this prayer on behalf of your familiy. God bless.

"Novena To The Sacred Heart of Jesus"
O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore You, I love You, and with a lively sorrow for my sins, I offer You this poor heart of mine.

Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to Your will. Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You.

Protect me in the midst of danger; comfort me in my afflictions; give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death.
