Classic carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms. Sleeping in wrist splints at night may help. Carpal tunnel syndrome is most often a repetitive strain injury. The more you use the affected hand, the worse the pain and numbness. Taking advil or other anti-inflammatories can help, but sometimes the relief is only temporary.
The symptoms you describe are classic carpal tunnel syndrome. Here is a website that will give you some detailed info and treatment options.

When sleeps you need to change positions to relive the pressure area; so you can have better circulations. Here are some things you can try:
1). When you sleep on the sideway, use a thicker pillow. When sleep side way on a thin pillow, all the upper body weight will be on the shoulder and cause numbness on the arm and hand.
2). Use warm water 10 seconds and cold water 10 seconds on the shoulder, arm and wrist for 7 times. Always end with cold.
3). If you use computer at work, check the high of the chair. When the chair too low, will make the keyboard too high for your wrist and cause pain or numbness sometime.
4) The reason you have numbness and other people don’t under same conditions, may be because you have too much body toxins. You need to drink more water (green tea even better).
5). You should go see a doctor to rule out the medical reasons, then try Qigong Massage, Acupressure Massage, Myofascial Release Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, and Detoxification Massage. Good luck!andyhooang@yahoo.com

It may be carpal tunnel syndrome. The problem really comes from the wrist. Try wearing a wrist brace for a few weeks to see if that helps.

Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. Do you do a lot of repetitive motion with that hand?

They're probably jammed and i'm dead serious. If you had a grape jam it wouldn't hurt very bad so it can't be that. Strawberry just feels weird. You must have a raspberry jam on all three fingers. That hurts like crazy!

carpel tunnel syndrome. You would have to go to an orthopedist and he/she would be able to help you. they would be able to tell you if you have to have surgery or not.
