Macho men would say God is a he, and women's libbers say God is a she, but God is a spirit and we are made like beast to be destroyed Ecclesiastes 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.,
so we are a shadow of Angels, and angels are a shadow of God, so we are a shadow of a shadow. Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
God did originally speak life into existence, and this was the original plan. Gen 2: 7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Gen2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

After God made man he split him into two parts male and female (Adam and Eve) so originally God did not have sexual parts like the angels don't have sexual parts and are neither male or female.

God is spirit therefore has no physical attributes that would identify a gender. Him is the gender used to describe God.....probably because men head up all the worlds religions that follow God and wrote all of the books.

Genisis 1:27 says "In the image of God he created him; male and female" God is a he, however to express himself in creation, he had to use male and female. God has characteristics of both. He is nurturing like a mother but he is called our heavenly Father, as he is our provider, protector, and our ultimate authority.

Neither. Jehovah created gender so humans and animals could procreate. The angels have no gender. However, when they did take on materialized bodies, they were ALWAYS men. Not women or chubby little boys and girls.
