Probably not. Most teenage girls act affectionate to their friends. Don't know why exactly.
You most likely aren't lesbian, unless you have prolonged feelings for a girl.

No, it doesn't mean you are a lesbian. Young women do learn to kiss with other girls. Also, women are more appealing than men, in a physical sense. Being a teen is awkward. Don't worry, insecurities about this stuff is normal. You aren't a lesbian. If later in life you find that you are attracted only to women or only to men, or both then so be it. Being a teen is just awkward. Especially with media and pop culture. I don't think you are a lesbian. If you find yourself unattracted to men at all, in both a physical and emotional way, then it is something worth considering.

For those who had to ask, can you really not figure this out? That it comes from the term passion?
For those who used the term "bi"--you can't have it both ways. By that, I mean that it's a choice or it isn't. The term "bi" implies that it is
As for being a lesbian, you aren't chained to what happened one evening. You are allowed to make a choice. And although many want to deny it, you will eventually turn into a person defined by the choices you made in life.

Sweetheart, we all go thru stages where we experiment with different things. It is important that you stay true to yourself and not stress out over the incident you mentioned. It does not make you a lesbian. If you are one, that's great...good for you for realizing it. If not, you were just doing what a lot of other girls have done on occasion. Don't stress, just live your life and you will find out who you are.0

No, believe it or not a great number of girls have these "moments" when they are going through puberty, it doesn't mean they are lesbians. It is even quite normal for a girl to form a "crush" on another girl, it doesn't mean she is a lesbian. Being a lesbian has more to do with lifestyle rather than just sexual preferences, or playing around.

If the though of having sex with a guy appeals to you, you are not a lesbian.
About 40 percent of women, much higher than men, are bisexual. What you did is completely normal at your age. You have sexual desires and that was probable more enjoyable than masturbating. And, if you are like me, you masturbate a lot.
I have had had girl sex twice and each time I really enjoyed. However, I would much rather have sex with a guy and I don't even consider myself bisexual. Just a girl that when my hormones are driving me crazy is willing to do what it takes including sometimes having sex with another girl.

too soon to tell but good for you for accepting the possibility so readily.
If you like boys and are attracted to them then do yourself a favour and wait for a nice guy. A stud will just use you and make you feel bad pushing you closer to women. What you need to do is give "the normal life" a fighting chance to work for you.

You could only be considered a lesbian if you are attracted to other girls. When you were sleeping at your friends house, did you feel like you were attracted to her, or were you just fooling around to experiment?
If you like boys at school, and you are attracted to girls, then you would be considered bi.
I think around the ages 13-16, teenagers like to experiment and try new things.
