he said to noah "I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."
don't you like how he made a point to be very very specific. that way when he did crap like destroying entire cities for the same reason he flooded the earth, we couldn't call him a liar, because it wasn't the entire earth AND it wasn't a flood.
2 points to god!

The Genesis account says God set up the rainbow (prism effect of sunshine by raindrops) as a demonstration of a promise. The promise being that the completed Earth could in no way back be destroyed in a flood. that isn't a promise that small floods could in no way take place. merely that there would not be yet another one to conceal the completed planet. in my opinion, i like the metaphore with the interplay of sunshine and water additionally. that is incredibly cool

Unlimited points to God!
He can never be called a liar because He cannot lie.
He is all wise and just in all He does.

I am puzzled, Nectar, you do *not* believe in god, so why ask question like that ? Oh, I know now... some free time to kill and you feel llike wrestling with intellectual midget Christians...
yes, you made your point, but what is it exactly ? but more importantly, what is your question ?
just curious...
