The female reporter on ESPN has absolutely no finesse. When Leicht made it to the winners circle she was impatient and rushed his first taste of victory! Then his best friend comes to congratulate him and she pulled on his arm and spun him towards her to finish her mandatory questions! I mean come on this kid wins his first victory and all she cared about was getting in her obligatory interview!
Sorry no class on her part!
Was I the only one who noticed this?

I saw that too Drivinfast she was waving her papers at him! I would have yelled at her to take a chill pill! She just came off as brash and looked stupid! It was very immature on her part. If anyone knows of a sight I can go to complain let me know, I'm there! LOL

Vincent I understand about the time, but come on like df31 said, Victory Lane is for the winner to celebrate, she could have and should have handled it better.

Haha, I was yelling at her at the tv. She was being totally disrespectful to Stephen. It was his very first time in Victory Lane and he was still all hooked into the seat, and she was like rushing him out. She should be lucky that wasn't me in that car cuz I would have took more time getting out and then let her know about it. And then smiled and done my interview. When a driver is in Victory Lane, that HIS TIME, and she should learn that.

I saw that too, Short! I understand the whole after race interview thing, but the way she was acting was a little much. I think she got a little frazzled because they went to her before he had even took off his helmet. You could tell she didn't know what to say and she was stumbling on her words. I think the whole thing was just rude on her part. She made herself look like a total fool! It was annoying me and I was not even in victory lane! Stephen drove a great race last night; he deserved that win and any celebrating he wanted in victory lane! ESPN needs to get rid of this girl; all of her reporting and interviews STINK!!

She was just doing her job. Yes, it was the end of the race and ESPN was running short on coverage time. She just was trying to get his thoughts on the win, how he felt and what it took to get to the front for the win. I don't think She was out of line at all.

you were not alone, it was a spectacle in a bad way. Poor kid only gets one first win, and she was just too out there all about what she wanted and what she had to do, totally oblivious to him

It wasn't just you ! I hope she's gone soon, even if time is short, they should let him enjoy the victory.

doing her job, running short on time, ESPN has alot of $$$ invested. alot more than his buddy, What I noticed is everybody is nice to steven wallace because of his dad, but he has caused alot of problems, and I dont think he should be in a race car, somebodies going to get hurt,
