It is those who are ignorant that say all muslims are terrorists. All the muslims I know are as much against the terrorists as the rest of us are. The problems with americans is they refuse to believe that it might not have even been so-called terrorists responsible for 9/11, but instead the possibility that it was our own government that was responsible. I also can't stand it when someone's moronic answer is "if you're against the terrorists then stand up and demand an end to it" my response is, are we americans any more able to stand up to our govt. and demand an end to it. No we are not. True muslims believe in God, love, peace, charity and good works. I think it is just taking the easy way out to say all muslims are terrorists than to understand that it is only a very small percent who are actually terrorists. Just know that not all of us americans are so stupid to believe such an idiotic idea.

I do not believe all muslims are terrorists but I do believe that many terrorists are muslim.
Muslim leaders have been almost silent, whether in fear or in collaboration. American muslim leaders are silent. Where are the millions calling for peace among faiths?
You are not a terrorist and I am not an infidel.
Muslims are going to have a hard time here as long as they remain silent. In addition the faith faces a great challenge in remedying the stereotype that Muslim women are enslaved.
If Muslims want more acceptance there is alot that they could do to get it. The first step is getting loud about terrorism, including American terrorism. The 2nd is making an effort to spread some understanding about the role of women in Muslim culture. From the outside looking in there is a view of sexism and fundamentalist violent ideals. In this way it is similiar to the fundamentalist christians and they scare me too.
I am a christian and I am not afraid to criticize other christians. The terrorists claim to represent Allah. If this is not so, then let the Muslims say so loud and clear, all across the world. As long as there is silence, muslims will be perceived as condoning the violence.
You are not a terrorist. Good. Like the rest of us, its your job to help stop those who are terrorists. Get busy and the world will begin to believe that Muslims value peace because muslims will be creating it.

No one is ever a terrorist, unless he practise the heinous crime terror. And no religion is a party to it. A terrorist has no religion.
Unfortunately Islamic Jihad has been wrongly conveyed or wrongly promoted by many, and misunderstood by the non-Muslims as terroristic. May be we Muslims are to be blamed for it also. This is the sole reason that in to days world dominated mostly by the western powers the name Muslim is often taken as terrorist. I is very unfortunate for us, and we must be able to let those ignorant about it to know the truth.

I never did, buddy. I am in the Middle East right now and TRUST me I know the difference. In fact, I have read all 114 Surahs of the Koran to see where it promotes terrorism.
I see a lot of harsh words that appear to be metephors to a cause, but nothing says to go out and terrorize! Oh, by the way the name most often mentioned next to Mohammed was.........Jesus, I believe! (But as a prophet, not a savior)
I am a practicing Catholic - and Judeaism, Chritianity, and Islam all root from the same Old Testament and the prophets therein. We just see things different after that point!

Because Islam is being portrayed as a "violent religion, spread by the sword."
After the 9/11, we Muslims are feared everywhere we go..
Well, not all treat us different..
even in YA, we are treated badly..
it's because of the media and the radicals today...
we are no longer united as we were before..
still, that doesn't give anyone the right to call you "terrorist"..
as well as you do not have the right to call Christians, Jews, Atheists names....

Personally, I find that judging a person simply because of their race or religion is one of THE worst things a person can do. I hold no hard feeling towards the muslim religion because of 9/11. I believe that the people who do blame an entire religion and race for the actions that took place that day are narrow-minded. While what happened that day still remain in all our hearts, I don't think anyone should have to face racism b/c of it. We are all people and we all have feelings, and I'm very sorry that somepeople judge you like that.

I guess someone call you a terrorist but it wasn't me you should redirect your question better I guess you want to know why some people call you a terrorist Honey don't think b/c you have came to the US that you will get some kind of special treatment. I am African American and my people have been in this county for years and to some people all African American are no good we all lie, steal , and get welfare and for so as White People they have been here in the US for years but some people call them white trash, nasty, we all get called names and I sorry that you feel that way but that this how this country is we get called names by the color of our skin not for who we are we all have to just fit in together b/c we are all equal but don't let name calling tear you up b/c you know that you won't hurt no one so just hold your head up and be strong. Good Luck

you may desire to tell them that they are incorrect and that they might desire to base their opinion of you on your strikes, no longer the strikes of others. i'm an atheist yet i've got develop into quite offended as quickly as I see human beings judging all muslims on the strikes of a few. the rustic is in a state of paranoia and this is basically organic that they purpose minorities. They got here after African human beings, eastern, Irish, etc. quicker or later in background as a results of fact of irrational concern. I might desire to be attentive to, i'm hispanic. do no longer complication, slowly, they are going to flow directly to targetting somebody else and you will no longer experience lik you may desire to convey regret for something you in no way did. Please undergo in suggestions what you have found out: that prejudice of minorities isn't stable.

Your avatar speaks volumes. You appear to be a wise Muslim, open minded to other cultures and beliefs just as the Prophet Muhammad was. I am not a Muslim but let me call you Brother.
I do my best not to get angry at those who label Muslims as terrorists. I never believed this stereotype but these statements lead me to get a deeper understanding of Islam. The best and simplest advice I can give to someone who speaks out against Islam is that most negative beliefs are usually polar opposite to the truth.
-Islam does not condone the oppression of Women, it advocates protecting women's rights
-Islam is not violent, it advocates peace through understanding and compassion
The Ill-Informed Media and Backwards Extremists reinforce misconceptions of Islam. I do my best to bring clarity and calm.
-Peace

As for the term "terrorist"...
On July Fourth, we Americans will celebrate the deeds of our own terrorists with displays of explosives. Only we prefer to call these terrorists patriots. Why? Because they won.
Don't let the idiots get you down. These flag-wavers let the media do their thinking. Just keep your head up, and know that we're not all jerks...
