This might be a hard one for the Christian believer to want to examine... But as a Christian myself, I can see that over time, some institutions have leaned towards a "blaming" of the Jews for the death of Christ, even though prophecy states clearly that it was pre-destined to happen in the manner that it did.

Every Easter all around Europe and the Near East (Turkey, etc.) after Easter church services were over, the Christians would instigate a Pogrom on any Jews in their areas.

They would take them from their homes, burn them at the stakes, including their children, or round them up and burn the entire community in their own synagogue, or just rape the women and girls and steal everything they could lay their hands on.

Easter was a particularly horrible time for Jews at the hands of Christians. The sign of the cross is literally a terrorism symbol to Jews throughout most of Christian history.

Then there were all the years of Inquisition and Crusades when Jews were burned, check out "auto de fey" on google. Again, same scenario.

There are lists of Pogroms and murders committed by Christians, that literally run into the thousands and thousands against Jews. Here is just a partial one. Notice the majority were committed by Christians:

Then you can have a look at Martin Luther's disgusting writings against the Jews, recommending burning them alive in their synagogues, men women AND children, as well as other kindly Christian acts and descriptions. This used to be up on Fordham University's website but apparently they've become too politically correct now and took it down. So here it is from another site:
http://www.humanitas-international.org/showcase/chronography/documents/luther-jews.htm

Most of the entire history of Christianity towards the Jews has been murder, slaughter, forced conversions, discrimination, not allowing Jews to have any occupations except Tax Collectors, etc., no education, but mostly it's been murder and slaughter in the most horrendous ways imaginable - torture, being pulled apart, burned alive, etc. and this was Jewish men, women AND CHILDREN they did this to.

There is much doubt and shadow over the Pope even during WWII for being implicated as entering into agreements with
and aiding the Nazis, and after the war, some Jewish children who had been taken in by non-Jews and raised for a few years with non-Jewish names and identities, the Church refused to allow these children to reclaim their Jewish identities - essentially they tried to steal their Jewish souls, even when begged by the surviving parents of these children.

The Protestant churches were no better, but were responsible for the deaths of many, many Jews for turning them in to the Nazis, including children.

Read "Hilter's Pope" for some very damning documentation of the Pope's activities that were very antisemetic during WWII.

Yes, I'm sure there are those who do blame the Jews...however they are as you said living under a false assumption...that if it were not for the Jews, Jesus would not have been killed. Some people (Hitler for example) took this belief and worked some charismatic verbal magic and just to follow his own agenda convinced a whole country to believe that the Jews were responsible.

l have never even heard of such a thing in this present time period. I have heard the opposite though. Have you ever heard of dispinstionalism? It is widely believed (although I personally dont believe it) but what it says is that the Jews are like God's special people, and it makes the Jews as being, if any different from other races, better. Definetly not anti-semetic.

That develop into between the excellent pleas i've got study in a protracted time and that i sympathise with the style you experience, whether i'm no longer gay. besides the shown fact that i think of this is a mistake to without delay associate hate with being placed to death. might you no longer placed down your previous crippled canine and nevertheless love him? Even the ArchDevil, Hitler, had them placed to death. i does not recommend that and don't consider the bible's statements on the subject. What i in my view dislike is that, once you think approximately that there are properly over 2 billion human beings on the planet that are religious and not in favour of 'gays', why you insist in affronting them with what they view as sin, and are constantly pressing for extra tolerance, to the quantity of having marriages etc. So this is not any suprise to you that they react against it, even strongly. expertise might say stay interior the closet and shop to yourselves. whilst issues get tough, as they'll over right here few years and previous, this is properly customary that populations activate minorities they dislike to offer vent to their concern and anger. As Christ stated, permit he who's with out sin throw the 1st stone. i do no longer throw stones, yet others will. don't be a aim seems common sense and maybe even clever.

Yes because St. Louis--ring a bell?--lead a genocide against the jews in the 1200's and then the Inquisition whipped them out nearly. It was counties like Holland that let them stay there because it was good for buisness. The religous countries of that time didn't want a thing to do with them.

As a true Christian in a true religion, semetism is not practice among us because we don't believe on traditions and other cultures which are not written on the bible. Our basis in believing the truth is the Holy Bible. Our belief is solely base on it and no other else.We are not also blaming the Jews of having nailed Jesus Christ in the cross which caused his death because it was written by the prophets on the bible. That was to be done inorder that the prophet will be fullfilled.

I agree. The devil will come into any church to distort the message of grace and peace through Jesus Christ. There are Christians that focus on homosexuality, politics, and anti semitcism. But those who remain faithful to God continue to preach the true Gospel.

Well, the Inquisition would be a nice example. And of course, there is the church's silence during most of the holocaust. And there are those Bible thumpers who still haven't figured out that Jesus was a Jew.

Sure it could play a role, you could look into what Martin Luther ( founder of the lutheran's) used to think about the Jews and what he did to the Jews.
