I know it can normally last 4 to 8 weeks, but the first time, I know hair grows back faster.

short hair starts growing after 2-3 weeks but gets longer after 4-6 weeks

No the hair does not grow back faster. It grows back just the same. It doesn't last 4 to 8 weeks though, no idea who said that. Waxing lasts 2-3 weeks on average.

When I first did it, it lasted about 3 weeks. And let me tell you, waxing the under arms was PAINFUL for me! I was like that guy on 40 year old virgin lol.

Supposedly it lasts six weeks or more, but I find that it's only about three weeks for me. I also grow head hair very fast, so maybe that's why.
