My PLAN is to jog every morning @ around 9-10 next to the FDR drive. I live in the city. Jog for around 30mins-1hour and come home and workout (lift weights, bench, situps, pushups etc.) for around 1 hour or so.
What are some good motivations in doing so? In the mornings I feel like staying home and just watching t.v, but today i managed to go downstairs and jog for around 30 minutes only. I can only jog for like 2 minutes and have take a break =\ and when i workout, I can't get myself to do more than 3 sets of 20 reps or curling and sit ups etc.. I end up only working out for 20-30 minutes. Any advice would be great, thanks in advanced!

What schedule should i follow for my workout? I have a bench set without the bench bar(long story), dumbells with weights, speed bag, leg curler from bench.

First off you should not go jogging first then work out. It should be the other way around. Because if you jog first then your body uses all the nutrients it had stored before it even starts to burn the fat. Then once you go to work out you are robbing yourself of any gains and possible hurting yourself in the process. What you should do is work out first for about 45min. to an hour, then go job for another 30min. to 45min. This way your body will already be primed for the most productive fat burn during your jog. good luck hope that this helped.

Ok, I have Q for you. Are you fit, or is this new? Maybe you are trying to do too much in the begining, I know when i started to work out I thought you had to do at least 2 hrs a day to loose weight, so I just avoided doing it all together. then I started by walking a mile a day and it was hell doing just that. Now I do 2 miles a day with weights, and the 1 mile every other day plus the toner excersizers. I would say reevaluate what you are trying to do and you might find the answer. Oh, and when I don't want to excersize in the morning I make sure that I get up and just begin slowly to get dressed and wash and shower and begin my routine slowly. By the time a am 5 mins into my workout I am ready to go and I don't feel discouraged anylonger.

The real question you should be asking is "Why do I want to do all this?"....Only you can answer that one. And when you do there is your motivation. You don't say how old you are or what shape you are in right now. You might be trying to do too much. 3 sets of 20 reps on the weights is a lot. You probably need to increase the weights, because 2 to 3 sets of 12 reps is plenty.

Until you get the motivation to jog, why don't you start out by walking briskly for about 45 minutes every morning? It has far less impact on the knees.
Check out this website, you may find something helpful.
Good luck!!

Nobody can really motivate you but you therefore, you have to want your goal bad enough to make every sacrifice possible. Therefore, whenever you feel to just sit and watch TV think of how bad you want to lose the weight and look great and get off your fat butt and go exercise.

you need to start smaller. Try to start running for 3 minutes and walk for 2. Do this for 30 minutes and after a few days you will be able to build up you endurance for running a longer time.

Find someone to jog with. Meet somewhere every morning. Don't trade cell numbers. Then you can't call and cancel with some lame excuse.

listen to up beat music and find a friend with the same goal in mind to run with in the morning, and work out with..you will find that when you run with someone else..especially a friend you will push yourself more, until eventually you have enough self motivation to run by yourself.
