I don't get it. Why do you think Chinese people are so proud?

God didn't make them so proud, 10,000 years of history did. They're one of the oldest surviving cultures that still refers to itself as it did ten millenia ago.
Solely because Europe developed metal and industry faster than China did, Europeans developed a superiority complex early-on in their interactions with China.
Throughout the last few hundred years, foreign imperialism and invasion has given Chinese people a lot to be angry about since their once autonomous country is more advance than the West in several regards - just not weapons and industry.
I think the pride comes from the fact that they know that they are superior to you in some ways, but you think you are superior to them.

I am chinese and I am as proud as any other person. God did not make me like this. My parents did.

if Chinese ppl are so proud - how come they kill their own in prisons and sell their organs for an immense price???
yup - takes a lot of pride--and what they are doing to the environment makes them proud too!
I cant find anything positive to say at this point !

They have a lot to be proud of. If it weren't for them we wouldn't have half of the things that we have today!!

I don't think it's proud, they are tough to respect customs, and show respect to the elders, and here its opposite

racial stereotype. it's not like God predestines people. He made a soul like a blank slate: you can write whatever you want on it, it's just hard to get anything off afterwards
