U pull out a blade. Could that mean Im crazy The only reason I own a blade and carry it is because I want to defend myself plus I cant fight well and alot of people here could actually put a skinny kid like me in a coma. I reside here in Long Beach, and if youve seen Freedom Writers u no that a Hispanic, Asian, African American could get murdered any moment they leave there house or apartment building, not cause they think you are from a set put beacause or you ethnicity.

Carrying a gun or a knife means you have the means and will to take a human life. Even owning a gun in my estimation is a tacit admission you have the intent to take a human life. If you are a Christian you know this is wrong, even in self defense. You are supposed to love your enemies and turn the other cheek when accosted. I know that is hard to do; I don;t know whether I could do it as I have never been in a fight in my 75 years of life.
The answers (3) that I saw previous to this weren't of much help. This is beginning to sound like it won't be isn't it? What do I propose you do?
Avoid doing anything that will antagonize the "Freedom Writers". Watch your mouth, Get out of the neighborhood if you posibly can. Never go out alone or by yourself with a female. Don't dress or carry anything that advertises your ethnicity. Above all don't carry a concealed weapon of any kind. Above all don't get involved with a gang opposing the group you fear by violence. Both these acts are against the law in most places. It will get you in trouble with the authorities and the law enforcers. Get involved with peaceful groups like the YMCA or a church youth group. Don't use drugs or drink alcohol.
These are just a few suggestions. Remember bullys like you described are cowards. So are people who are always fighting. Keep a positive attitude and when afraid by thinking negative things like your post just start whistling a merry tune and think of something else. Dwelling on dangers magnify's them.

My friend, if you are not seeing a therapist, you need to seek out one first thing in the morning, CST. (Central Standard Time)
It seems to me you are angry & hostile.
Usually when a person routinely carries a weapon, crime seeks him/her out, and that very weapon is used to hurt the person carrying that weapon.
Why not purchase mace, or something that will detain a criminal.
Also, why do you think only ethnic people are victims of crime in Long Beach or any other place in the world?
Crime has no color, most of the time it is a random act of violence.
FYI: Freedom Writers is a movie!
When you & I step out of our homes every day, it's call reality!
Don't live your life in fear, it will consume you!
Be careful of your surroundings wherever you are!

No it means that are you are really weak and you hide your weakness with weapons.
Better Idea - you either have munchausen or turrets
You might have munchausen because you wrote all that so someone would feel bad for you, even though being skinny is not a disease, so you are bad at being a munchhausen sufferer. You likely have turrets because after the second sentence nothing you said made sense or had anything to do with what you are talking about

Why not learn some martial arts and be able to do without the knife, if possible. Easy move--both his hands are "busy" right--crush his larynx--leopard claw or tiger's mouth--end of problem, so long as your self defense argument holds up. :))
