Yes. I give them to my dogs all the time. They love 'em, especially on hot days. ☺

My English Bulldog puppies love ice especially in hot weather. If I am outside in warm weather with my Bullies I will fill a water dish with crushed ice and it helps keep them cool! If the teeth that are falling out are baby teeth then I would say that is okay since they would come out anyway but check with your vet about that if it is happening a lot!

Of course. He probably likes the ice cubes because it relieves the pain in his gums. Keep giving them to him...it makes him happy and his teeth not to hurt so bad since they are at that stage of falling out.

Yup^^
Sure it's safe!
Ice cubes is just the same with water!
The only different is, it was cold and hard!
My dog loves ice cubes too! ( Especially summer )

Sure! In the summer, our dogs like to "bob" for ice cubes in a big bowl of water. Ice won't hurt your pup's gums or teeth. He knows enough to stop if it hurts!

I had a Border Collie years ago. He loved ice cubes and enjoyed finding rocks under the water at the lake. He find a rock and bring it to me, he was really doing something. I not sure what it was, but, he had a good time doing it.

All puppies loose there teeth. Our rat terrier loves ice cubes too, and often beats me to the freezer if he knows I'm getting them. Ice cubes don't hurt them, I like to think it cools them down just like it cools us down.

Ice is nothing more than water so it is safe. The hardness is probably no more than a rawhide chew, and ice cubes melt. Unless you see him choking or teeth breaking there is no harm.

Yes of course it's ok! A great refreshmant for the summer time. My black lab/greyhound LOVED chomping on ice throughout his entire life!

Hi!
His teeth should NOT be falling out!
[[PS: I didn't know for sure if they are supposed to.. my puppy hasn't lost her teeth so I assumed it wasn't supposed to happen]
if this is happening because of the ice, I'd recommend you stop for the present time.
Some puppies teeth all the way through 8 months, for instance, my puppy.
They love to chew on stuff, and maybe your puppy is chewing too hard, too much on the ice, which can wear down his teeth, and yes, make them fall out. This is very bad considering if your dog eats dry food, giving it the inability to eat properly, which can lead to malnourishment. [It's bad anyway, dogs' teeth are supposed to be able to withstand many tug o' wars in a given period of time]

However, know that you CAN give dogs ice cubes, but please llimit it to hot days in the summer, where they will melt fast anyway.
make sure they aren't large cubes to where they can choke on them. If you really want to give your dog ice it might be wisest to give him semi-crushed ice.

Hope this helps you!

My black lab loves them too....just make sure he doesn't drop some on the floor and leave a puddle to slip in. They feel good to his gums and some dogs just like the crunch and cold, same as humans.
