They deny these things because they are a cult. All cults deny certain things. Like the Diety of Christ, Salvation by Faith through Grace alone, etc.

Also, all cults (so-called christian ones) always revolve around someones teaching and strange interpretation of the Bible. In their case, its the Watchtower Org.

Now as to WHY people do these things. The reason should be obvious. People like to feel "different". And like the feeling of being persecuted. Now no one persecutes the JW,s, but they like to think they are. Thats why they take rejection as persecution. When most of the time its just because even non-religious people can recognise whackinese when they see it.

Also, as you can tell by some of the JW answers, they really dont know very much about the bible. So, they fall for every "wind of doctrine" that comes down the pike.

A good example is Moises above. He always says the same silliness, "I can prove from the bible what I'm saying". lol.
But if you ever take a look at the scripture and bible arguments that he gives you would see, that its either out of its context, or he always is reading something into the text that simply isnt there.

And its always something that the Watchtower has told him. Never something that he has thought out himself. None of them can think for themselves.

Look at Wannaknow above. She says that she "researched" stuff herself. Now, the truth is, she did no such thing. What she did was read a couple of Watchtowers. And let them do her thinking for her. Her mother being a methodist minister shows a non-christian upbringing. Women are not to be Teachers or Pastors in the church. So, right away, you know it was a non-christian home. When even basic bibilical teachings are ignored, error will follow.

Now look at Agape above. Making statements does not make them true. The Rapture of the Church IS taught in John chapter 14, 1Thess 4, & 1Cor 15.
Now, the timing of this event is debated, but not the fact of it. The FACT of it is well established in Scripure.

That is one of the reasons they always include Watchtower Links at the end of their answers. The cannot think for themselves. They need the Watchtower. Without it, there is no thought process.

Lets face it. Nobody has EVER come up with all of the unbiblical (and Stupid, sorry. There is no other word) ideas that the Watchtower has, just by reading the Bible Alone. Not one person in history. Not one JW ever has either.

By the way, have you ever seen a JW with any kind of Advanced Degree? Probably not. There might be a couple. But lets face it. It is a rare thing. Why? Because that would require some degree of independent thinking. A concept foreign to them.

The problem is, people simply will not follow the Bible. They want to do things their own way.

the unhappy area is.that persons quite do no longer care approximately what the bible says. They knock Jehovah's human beings, yet, they have not have been given any solutions for the scriptures. they try among one yet another. they're completely disorganized. human beings of their very own congregations disagree with human beings in different congregations. They condemn us for putting out magazines. yet, they bypass to bookstores and purchase books written via Evangelists, pupils and whom ever else. yet, all and sundry of those books disagree with one yet another. They pay for their books and the authors make thousands and thousands. in this website , all of them have distinctive solutions for the comparable questions. Even on uncomplicated bible know-how. the only element they consider is John a million.a million. and John 3:sixteen. consult with a individual who speaks greek. They in no way use John a million.a million. as a protection as a results of fact they be attentive to it refers to a God. in the journey that your ever in Greece ask every physique. yet, the bible states: "the line is cramped..and few will locate it". in the event that they actually concept extra deeply, they might placed 2 and a couple of at the same time and sweetness why just about each witness is from yet another faith. which comprise the governing physique. Jehovah's call has been customary for hundreds of years, yet, they in no way even renowned it. On appropriate of that, in the event that they might't see this international is collapsing, they might desire to have blinders on. yet, time is short. I honestly have a asserting that maximum folk can basically see as much as the top of their driveway..and those driveways are growing to be to be smaller via the day....Mark

Because they are false teachings and doctrines of men. The Bible does not teach these things. I came from a background where I was taught such things as you listed. My mother was a Methodist preacher, but I can remember her getting so frustrated because she would learn things while studying on her own and she would give sermons on subjects that she researched using the Bible, and the elders of her church would get upset with her and tell her she couldn't preach those things because they were not Methodist doctrine. They had set Sundays during the month when they had to give the tithing sermon. Anyway, I will never forget the Scripture at:

(Proverbs 2:1-6) “. . .My son, if you will receive my sayings and treasure up my own commandments with yourself, 2 so as to pay attention to wisdom with your ear, that you may incline your heart to discernment; 3 if, moreover, you call out for understanding itself and you give forth your voice for discernment itself, 4 if you keep seeking for it as for silver, and as for hid treasures you keep searching for it, 5 in that case you will understand the fear of Jehovah, and you will find the very knowledge of God. 6 For Jehovah himself gives wisdom; out of his mouth there are knowledge and discernment.. . .”

So I searched and searched for the truth, for accurate knowledge. I studied enough to know that I had not found it until I began to study with Jehovah's Witnesses. I studied 24/7 for the next three years and I now have accurate knowledge and gladly deny the false teachings you listed, which dishonor God and Jesus Christ! They just aren't true.

The above two articles will answer your question in a most satisfactory way. I hope you will take the time to read it and use your version of the Bible to look up all the sighted Scriptures (and as you do this, pray for understanding and discernment and holy spirit to help you see the truth).

Jesus said, “If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31, 32) OBVIOUSLY, Jesus expects his followers to remain in his word—that is, to stick to his teachings.

Diety of Christ...Hell...immortality of the soul...Trinity (elevating Jesus to a position he never claimed for himself) ...Rapture of the Church... (as you mentioned in your question) are OBVIOUSLY teachings that religious teachers borrowed from pagan religions and philosophers ; NOT the actual teaching of Christ.

Why do we deny (your) standard christian doctrine? To be frank, it is because your standard of christian doctrine is false.

It is obvious. Every religion has it wrong. There is something magnificently arrogant to believe 1 religion has is right. The Hindus were around a lot longer than the Christians, maybe they have it right. What about the Jews? God loves us all as long as we are good people. Just because someone does not believe what you do does not make them wrong.

Because they do not realize we were not called to be Jews and worship Jehovah, we are Christians and do all we do in the name of Jesus Christ like the New Testament teaches; Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Eph.1: 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Jehovah Witness do not believe Jesus and the father are one even though Jesus said this plainly in more than a few places; Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
See how Bible does call the son an everlasting father!
Now either Jesus Christ is a lier or Jesus is the Father is easy to see from Philip asking to see the Father and the answer; John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Besides assuming we all need to be Jewish in our belief they teach not to worship any holidays because they are all pagan in orgin. Also they believe that each believer should go door to door to make sure everybody has heard about Jehovah God, which was not even a word until about 1500 A.D. invented during the dark ages this word because nobody could say the name of God which was JHVH, but to a witness this is the most important thing the Bible teaches.

They have been taught differently and believe it.

Pray that the Holy Spirit will reveal to them his truth in the Word.
