I'm betting that no one would say yes to that and be serious about it. Well -- it would be every bit as ludicrous and moronic to seek to discriminate in any way against homosexual people.

Just like handedness and eye color, differences in sexual orientation are nothing more than trivial variations of normalcy.

So a person is attracted to others of the same sex? Big whoop, fer Pete's sake! That is NO big deal. And furthermore, it's no one else's business other than that of the partners who are involved in the relationship.

Bigotry toward people over such TRIVIAL differences as those I mentioned above is good for one thing, and one thing only. Manifesting it is a tipoff to everyone who witnesses it that the bigot IS a bigot, and therefore is a lowlife sociopath. Not to mention an ignoramus.

The USA has been outgrowing bigotry for decades. The faster we reject it, and bigoted agendas, the better and fairer this nation becomes. Employ vigorous peer pressure against it.

To "Jim B." -- Just like handedness and eye color, homosexuality isn't mentioned in the Big Ten, either.

And I'm glad you don't care what people do in their own homes. That's common sense and fairness on your part. And that's all that this question deals with -- treating our neighbors fairly, and ignoring trivial variations of normalcy.

I'm still trying to figure out how being gay is a choice.. the theory would have to be that we all start out bi-sexual and then somehow wake up one day and say, "Oh I think I'll be attracted to..."
It makes no sense.

I'm a lefty who was forced to write with her right hand because people thought lefties were of the Devil.

I am left handed and since right handedness is controlled by the left side of the brain and left handedness is controlled by the right side of the brain, all of us left handed people are the only ones in our right mind!!! Whether you know it or not you are discriminated against being a left hander. We have to adapt to the right hander world, Things are made for the right handed person. (Like can openers and irons).

Maybe because there is no commandment from God that condemns being left handed, or eye color. Personally I don't care what they do in their own homes. But the Church is another matter. No one has the right to live in a state that God says is sin and call them self a Christian.. Do Christians sin, yes of course. When we do, the Holy Spirit is right there to point it out and correct the issue. In short we repent. If a person want to be a child of God let them get right with God and then join us. We will welcome them with open arms... Jim

That's two out of three 10%s I'm part of: left handed, atheist, but straight.

And we are discriminated against, constantly, in more or less utterly trivial things. (remember lefty scissors in art class?)

(Of course, shaking right hands means that my bad hand and my enemy's good hand are tied up, so I have the literal upper hand.)

I'm left handed and gay and discrimination is a terrible thing, I've never been discriminated because I'm left handed though

My husband is a lefty. He isn't gay, he is just British.

Non-sequitor alert! Seriously, you are right. Its ridiculous for people to hate anyone for being the way they are. Bigotry needs to go!
