My observation, having worked in a hospital auditing medical charts:
Still a stigma is attached to the profession of the nurse, of which men tend to veer away from.
Another factor may be is, there are still more male doctors than female doctors, and female nurses are more quiescent, more pliable to male doctors than are male nurses.
Plainly, till men move into the nursing profession, female nurses will continue to abound. When men begin to move into this field, which is sure to happen sooner than later, greater changes will occur overall.

you're making an assumption in step with one verbal replace. I paintings with some male nurses and that they are enjoyed in simple terms positive my the female team. Why in the worldwide might a male nurse be a danger to a different nurse's job protection?

Nurse job mostly is to take care of patients. they are more close to patients than doctors..
maybe, generally people view females as 'care-taker' (just like a mother who manages her children (the food, bedtime story telling,..)).
It doesn't mean that male doesn't have this characteristic..
