Recently my speakers were ripped out/stolen from my 92' Mazda Miata. I now bought new speakers. I understood the directions, but when I saw what's left of the wires in the Miada- The wire colors doesn't match the new speakers. Do I need connections? Thanks.

Find the wiring diagram on one of these sites and wire your speakers accordingly---may have to get new terminal ends---Radio Shack or parts store should carry them.

Troubleshooting.. start up with what you comprehend. a million. Pull the audio device out of the passenger area and plug them interior the driving force area. If it works, then something is amuck interior the stereo. 2. Your stereo, might have had something short inner and be inflicting it to act up how that's. 3. Water and electronics makes for a large number and interesting issues happen. 4. Having a short on the passenger area, shouldn't deliver the capacity to the driving force area.... the flow of electrical energy would not try this. It desires to hunt for floor it somewhat is on the stereo speaker, or another place if shorted, it won't shuttle decrease back up the cord and bypass over the stereo to the driving force area.

Most of the time it doest matter. But if your car has a factory amp (which is located in the trunk area) It may short out the amp or radio. I would suggest have a technition have a look at it first.
