It was really good, tons of red meat sauce, homemade with garlic cheese bread.

Since gluttony is a sin God might be mad at you. If God was really concerned about it he/she would have smote you already - or maybe God's revenge is you getting fat and smiting you later with a heart attack.. It depends on how you look at it... Next time eat lots of pasta with garlic & olive oil and lay off the meat sauce - God will forgive you for that and so will your cholesterol levels and it will only leave you with stinky breath.

Why should God care if you ate too much pasta and if you weren't sorry why bother praying to God. Now if you stole some pasta off of your kid brother's plate, then you better start praying and if you're not sorry for doing that then you better pray that you will be sorry because God definitely isn't happy with bullys who prey upon people who are weaker and smaller than they are. However, and this is definitely my last word, If you leave a big bowl of pasta for God, He will forgive you for everything.

I don't believe God is in a position to be disturbed by your eating habits. Apparently a really good cook is at fault.

Eating too much is one of the seven deadly sins(gluttony)so, it is a sin. And if you’re not truly sorry then you won’t be forgiven.
